“EPA should consider asking its former administrator, Scott Pruitt, to pay $123,942 back to the government”

Not holding my breath.

I hear that compliance with the law is optional these days.

Hold Trump and his minions accountable? HUH, what are you smoking?

Prediction: neither he nor any of the hundreds of other grifters will ever pay back a dime.

What’s with all this conditional language: “may” “might ask?” Send the asshole a bill and give him 10 days to pay. If he doesn’t pay, garnish his bank accounts.

He’s being treated too harshly if you compare how much the luxury of Trump Crime Family costs.

Plus interest, I hope.

Occasionally I have to travel as a government employee. Everything right down to subway and bus fare is accounted for.
The sad thing is Pruitt probably looks at what he has to pay back as a bargain since he’ll make it back plus more in lobbying for the petrochemical industry plus his wife’s Chik filet franchise.

The billions in environmental damage he helped cause, well, that’s just too bad.

I think the court should make him work it off by picking up roadside trash. At a payscale of $8 an hour, this will clean up the country and keep him busy so he can’t apply for other cushy jobs.

Wasn’t Pruitt up to his eyeballs in debt, and unable to live the life of a DC bigwig? Hence the cushy deal on the apartment, among other things?

My guess is he’s nearly judgment-proof (unless someone else has been paying his legal bills), but go ahead and go after the money to further crash his credit rating.

Oh, was that Scotty? So hard to keep them straight.

I have full trust in the wingnut welfare system, however, to make sure he’ll be fine even with a crashed credit rating. The trick here will be to afford him all the cushy benefits while still making sure the Evil Gubmint can’t get their dirty paws on any of “his” money.
