Discussion for article #224761

Some creative person should write a smartphone app for reporting these things.

More signs of Obama’s tyranny.

I sincerely doubt that those douchbags who take part is such nonsense give two figs about legality. Stupid is too the bone with such creatures.

That’ll just convince a zillion more of these knuckle-draggers to install on…on the other hand, I see no reason why they shouldn’t spend their money on this instead of something useful.

They should figure a way to hook up the tail pipe to the cab of these vehicles so these jerks must breathe the foul air they are emitting

I suggest we gather up all these nitwits put them and their polluting contraptions into a large sealed warehouse and let them consume and breath all this…STUFF!

With all the pride these asses show (license is showing) the DMV should issue salvage titles for these boys since they can never trust any inspection results on these ever again. Hence, scrap value only.

Since the idiots filmed their license plates, it should be easy enough to locate and fine them accordingly.

Well if ‘liberals’ say pollution is harmful and the EPA says it’s illegal, that must mean pollution is actually good for us.///

The Republican party reminds me of those out-of-control teens regularly featured on ‘Maury’ that seem to think screaming “You can’t tell me what to do! I do what I want!” is proof of their maturity.

It’s dumfuk rednecks down in the old Confederacy doing this, so I doubt they care what one of the EPA says. It’s one of the three that Rick Perry wants to eliminate.
In a DKos story about “coal rolling” one of the dumfuks said he does it at Prius drivers, 'cuz they’re probably liberals.

Something tells me declaring it illegal just makes it more appealing to these yahoos.

Can’t you imagine citizens of other countries laughing at us? “And to think we used to look up to Americans!”

Maybe if we point out to them that the noxious cloud makes it more difficult to see their gun rack, they’ll stop.

Why does the EPA even have to address this? Doesn’t the Justice department or State Police associations have anything to say about fools blinding cars with black smoke on the highway? Or about businesses selling the means to do it?

It seems to me all but inevitable that someone is going to die in a car crash because of this.

Here is a quote from a truck driver about these altered vehicles: “It’s bad for the environment. That’s definitely true,” he admitted. “And some of the kids that have diesel trucks can look like tools. And you can cause a wreck, but everything else about it is pretty good.” So, even THEY know it is dangerous. (I got this from Raw Story)

In the early days of pollution controls on vehicles, they often compromised performance and/or increased fuel consumption. So it was popular to bypass those systems. These days engine controls have gotten to the point that bypassing those controls make the engines run worse. So only morons do it.

My concern with this is that what they have done is converted their trucks to emit massive amounts of finely particulate carbon. Which is implicated in several lung diseases including cancer. In some of those videos, you see people deliberately sticking their heads in the exhaust flow and getting coated with particulate carbon.

Long story short, they are killing people.

In California, just call 1800EXHAUST and report the vehicle’s license plate, make and model.

I do it anytime I see smoke pouring out of a vehicle.
