If Walker wins,I’m pretty convinced that he’ll be the GOP 2016 VP nominee if not the POTUS nominee.

Amazing

Walker is despised by minorities, drastically unpopular with an entire gender and still “likely to win”??

Remind me not to get into a political argument with a white male in Wisconsin.

Fear not Teatrolls…some conservative county will magically “find” all sorts of votes for Walker if this comes down to it.

Scott Walker wants to ban abortions in Wisconsin. So far his only achievement is to shut down Planned Parenthood clinics that provide breast-cancer screenings and other preventative health services for women in need.

So if your main priority is to make it more difficult for women to obtain mammograms, Walker is your guy.

Let’s hope this ad—and more, I hope—work for Burke.

She’s got a shot at winning—and she should win, if all the good Sconnies get out the vote.

I hope they buy some in the Duluth, MN market so people in Northwestern WI can see it too.

Midterm turnout is important. Voting in every election will defeat the GOP. That’s our political reality.

You are so correct. It is amazing how hard it is to get this through people’s heads.

In some countries, so-called “revolutions” (usually fought by younger people) can make a difference. My best friend’s mother fought in the Dominican Revolution of 1965, and, although the goal of the fighters was not achieved (the return of Juan Bosch), there was a palpable movement toward greater democracy (even though it took time).

This country has an actual system in which candidates like Liz Warren and Bernie Sanders exist. In which people can vote. What people consistently fail to realize is that (in addition to not fathoming that a political system like ours is rare in human history, with our ability to vote) making The Perfect The Enemy Of The Good is also a danger. That went a long way to facilitating the 2010 Democratic Non Voting Debacle, making John Boehner the actual de-facto President of the United States, until 2022 (when the effects of the 2010 Gerrymander can be addressed)

For every non-voter who fails to go to the polls because of simple ignorance or laziness, there are corresponding individuals who also shun the polls because the candidate is not “pure” enough. Thus, for example, in a state like North Carolina, which has literally been taken over by A.L.E.C., there are probably people who would not lift a finger to vote for Democratic Senator Kay Hagan because their videogame is too entertaining to put down for the amount of time it takes to vote AND people who would also not vote for Hagan because she is not liberal enough.

Even the Founding Fathers did not create a Perfect Selection of Perfect Leaders Instantly, like some of our poll-shunners demand.
