America rejects socialism…
AOC: “You’re changing the subject Rick, we were discussing your inadequacy complex.”
America rejects socialism…
AOC: “You’re changing the subject Rick, we were discussing your inadequacy complex.”
Exactly.
Which is why the response should be, “so Senator Scott, all those kids getting gunned down in Florida high schools and at night clubs thanks to the laws you passed as Governor allowing anyone to buy automatic weapons is a joke to you.”
“That a sitting Congresswoman doesn’t understand sarcasm would be embarrassing to the institution if you hadn’t embarrassed yours to the point of irrelevance already,” the Florida senator tweeted.
HA-HA! Sure! It’s all just for fun until someone says something that hits too close to home, and you crawl back under your rock to lick your wounds.
I don’t often agree with AOC, but Rick Scott, if he were not Republican, would feel embarrassed for the gratuitous swipe at AOC, and for showing what a fucking ignoramus he still is, even with all his experience at Medicare fraud, at being a Governor and being in the Senate.
I would be grateful if someone could explain to me why it has become common practice in news pieces that report on an exchange of tweets to both state the tweet content in the text and then embed the original tweets. Why not just state the text content in the text or just embed the tweets? It’s like a reality show that plays the same clip at least twice. C’mon, it’s not like the intended audience is Trump voters.
“What’s next? Will we have to register sharp knives?”
How about we just establish a national speed limit for bullets? I propose 55 mph.
My god…he doesn’t know what sarcasm means, does he.
So the GOP supports policies which ensure that all women do not have a choice when it comes to birth control and preventative family services?
So the GOP support the patriot act and all of its invasiveness when it comes to each and every americans civil liberties.
So the GOP support ensuring that corporations (which are run by people, but, according to the GOP and its Jury Prudence, corporations are people too) get the most free speech in every national and statewide election at expense of the public. So the GOP supports the billionaires drowning out the average american voice.
Yeah the dems are such socialist for wanting healthcare for every american, for wanting less money in politics, for not thinking corporations are people, and for wanting a better tomorrow for our children in an environment which is not one natural disaster after the next.
In short the Dems are for socialism when it comes out our common defense (Military, State Guard, Police and Fire), when it comes to our roads (state and local taxes) so that our business, schools and public institutions are accessible by walking, biking, riding a train or bus, or driving, when it comes to educating the next generation . . . frankly I am really proud for the things/policies/positions we as Democrats stand for . . . all you stand for is the concentration of power and bullying everyone with your religion and morals. That is not a free american, that is one with a king where his will is our will. That is not an america I want to live in!
Are you forgetting the cardboard cutout otherwise known as Sen. John Thune?
Just sayin’…
But somehow, no one’s laughing.
Worst jokes ever.
I was referring to a different drawer.
Republicans won’t win a Twitter war with AOC. Of course, that it serves as a format for serious policy discussions is kind of sad.
I watched the Netflix documentary about her.
When I saw what she had to do to get ice, to set up her bar … she had my vote.
Really AOC, if you’re gonna get into a twitter war with someone as disgusting as Rick Scott, just do it with guns blazing…
something like
Rick Scott & Nicholas Cruz
Perfect Together
/that said it all.
And , again…said it all…
I imagine that they include the text because some people view the page with Twitter disabled, so they couldn’t read the content if just the tweets were there and they include the tweets so that people who are on Twitter can interact with them easily if they choose to. You have to design your pages/articles to cater to an audience with a wide variety of needs.
I admire AOC’s restraint in not calling Scott a dickhead.
She’s thinking what we’re all saying.
