Elizabeth Warren will not be president
I agree. Her response to the Native American heritage issue was disappointing. Thankfully it should be a crowded field and we won’t be stuck with a pre-ordained candidate like last time.
There’s so much I like about her but the DNA thing worries me a lot.
Do we really want to hear about “Pocahantas” for the next 2 years?
I know it’s not fair but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be effective.
There are plenty of progressive alternatives
The first name that came to my mind was Bernie Sanders. The Venn Diagram concept.
The prospect of a pending Presidential race makes me want to puke. Oh, the indignities!!
Sorry, no more re-runs, please. We need someone who can actually win against whatever idiot the GOP throws up.
Bring on the corndogs!
I’m going to try not to get too worried about all the people that may run, and it is early but the Lump in the Oval referring to her as Pocahontas is a slight that won’t go away. If we have to hear that repeatedly like “crooked Hillary” I will lose it.
tRump grabs pu**y and wins and we’re hand wringing about the native american thing? Sure, not her best moment, but I welcome her voice to the discussion.
She will make sure that the financial theiving remains front and center, but beyond that she doesn’t have what it takes to beat trump.
Trump’s running? I certainly hope he’ll be under a wall by that time.

In a compelling way, Warren’s candidacy can represent a synthesis of the Bernis critique with traditional values of the Democratic Party. Her announced candidacy should be welcomed and is well needed. “Nevertheless she Persisted” is a great theme as a counterpoint to the Pocahontas slurs kept alive by Trump and the Lazy Media.
Nope. She won’t get out of the primaries.
“No matter what our differences, most of us want the same thing,” the 69-year-old Massachusetts Democrat said in a video that highlights her family’s history in Oklahoma.
Actually, our differences are VERY stark and what she thinks will bring this country together isn’t it. If she’s thinking that she can cobble together a coalition of Obama & HRC voters with Sanders voters, she’s not quite on the mark with that.
Not my first choice but I don’t hate it. Better her than Bernie.
But it’s still early. We have a lot of people to pack into the car.
In order to win, the Dems need someone who can siphon off some trump voters. Warren ain’t it.
I think she is great but she is also the only other biped on the planet beside HRC that Trump could defeat…
They’ll have a new “Lock her up” candidate
Agreed - Pushes in the right direction regardless of the outcome
