Privatization is also complicated by things like science and mathematics and history and civics and stuff like that. This kind of stuff, along with the moves against science, is one of the more dangerous things happening in the government. Republicans are trying to rework the education system to make it easier to discriminate and propagandize, in the hopes that they can control the next generation of Americans. Fortunately, education is mostly a state and local thing, so all they can do is try to give power to those who would wreck their education systems. While this will be popular in the red states, blue states won’t fall for this, and more people live in blue than red areas. Maybe that will be enough to hold the line until these people go away.
