Discussion: Economy Adds X Jobs In October, Unemployment Falls To X Percent

We gained more private-sector jobs in October, than we did in 7 of 8 Octobers under Bush.

perfect time to create a ‘crisis’. Go ahead Mr. President, walk out on the edge a bit. Roll these bastards. It may be your last opportunity. PA-lease.

You said that with such oomph, I thought you’d seen it before.
Well, Obama just said he would do it by year’s end, so here’s your chance to see these aerial porkers.

Exactly, it’s clear they coach their talking heads to be favorable towards GOTP & bash Dems.
I used to trust Schultz, but he got apoplectic when Obama said he would issue executive orders on immigration reform. That would cause Dems to lose elections according to him, so Obama backed down till after elections.
Well, what does he call it now? Winning.

Yeah, great going Schultz you loudmouth crybaby.
You really lost us the election with that hysteria. Losers.

Wow, Bush actually lost jobs in his 8 years. I’ve heard but thought people were demagoguing.
Wow, these are the people the mentally infirm who say they care about the economy are voting for? LOL. Good luck, angry old voters.

More like GOTP policies and chicanery kills jobs. I use the word loosely.

Wow. hmm hmm. No wonder the older midterm voters are yearning for those good ole days of severe job losses and growing deficit of 2 unpaid for tax cuts to the rich and 2 Mid East wars under a white GOTP POTUS. Good luck, suckers.
Destroy yourselves because of your illogical insanity and abject stupidity.

Ed Schultz lost me in 2010 when he urged his viewers to sit out the 2010 elections to “teach the Democrats a lesson.”
Since he got his show back after being banished to weekends, he is now the “working class hero”? – spare me.

Wow, he did that? Oh, my.
He’s no Dem or friend of Dems. He sure fooled me.

He’s not some idjit who doesn’t know how gov’t works. If he said that he was purposely sabotaging Dems. No wonder they were all smiles and grins during the election night roundtable. We should know, logically we should suspect only few 1%er Media moguls are truly Liberals. There are a few but the big conglomerates didn’t get to be 1%ers by having a heart or being fair.

GOP/Teatrolls: “Clearly, this is because the Amuirkkkan people anticipated our imminent and rightful takeover of Congress.”

Watch…the quandary they are now in is not just a catch-22 with respect to the question of whether to govern or not. It is also a catch-22 with respect to the question of whether to admit good news is actually good news or to continue to pretend that all good news is still bad news. Why? Because they are now in a position that affords them the superficial right to fabricate arguments that they’re the ones who deserve the credit.

Don’t worry. The GOP will make sure to change that around.

Who did you vote for Darcy, down there in Noth Calina?

Yeah, they are in quite the quandary.
How can the artists of gov’t doesn’t work start touting effective gov’t. This will be a thing of beauty to watch.
Either way they’re screwed, if they admit it’s better because of them then people will say gov’t can work and gov’t’s not the enemy but if it gets worse then they’ll be blamed. What to do? Governing’s a problem, not governing’s a problem. LOL LOL.

This will be awesome to watch play out. They’ll conquer Ebola & ISIS too, I’m sure. SMH. LOL

Ed needs to check his over inflated ego. Remember he also said that we needed to approve the KXL for a while too, until he was inundated with outraged viewers, who felt he had stabbed them in the back, so he then pivoted on that too and again said he was against it. Obviously, the DNC needs to stop using Ed as one of their strategists, along with the rest of the losers who advised them for this election.

Change what? What will GOTP change?

I read somewhere that Schultz voted for Bush in 2000.
Finally, let’s dispense with this notion of the MSNBC line-up being an indispensable voice of the left. The MSM is a major ratf-cking operation – the MSNBC included.
In the past year, I have seen them drift to more of a left-libertarian viewpoint – they presented Rand Paul as having reasonable ideas on drones and the national security/NSA issues, they highlighted Glenn Greenwald’s paranoid grandstanding. Yes, Greenwald, who in 2009 said his goal was to get Democrats to vote for libertarian Republicans and who criticized Obama from the left on issues.
And don’t forget that they axed their top-rated host – Phil Donahue – after he dared to question the Bush administration’s rush to war in Iraq.
And who could forget Chris Matthews’ drooling over Bush in a flight suit with “Mission Accomplished” in the background?
If the left is to make a political comeback it will need to focus on the economic issues of the working class and the middle class – that is the coalition they are losing to the Republicans

Yep. He sure did. My respect for him dropped and never fully recovered after that.

My issue with a lot of liberasl/progressives/ttle Democrats is this: We get precious little time on the TV as it is. When we FINALLY do get there, what is the first thing we do? Bash Obama and his policies. Complain about anything he’s done or is doing. Some even have to qualify a positive comment about him by pointing out something bad he’s done. Listening to a lot of Dems can be depressing. I can only imagine being a passing viewer and coming away with a negative view of the president and his policies.

As for Ed, I remember he became completely unhinged during that time. He seemed to be very full of himself - I remember having to turn the dial a number of times because of his constant whining.

I see what you did there. LOL.

No, we’re the ones that are screwed, because the Republicans abandoned policy as a focus in 2009. It’s only about getting back to power now, and it’s demonization of Obama and the Dems, obstruction, and the politics of personal destruction 24/7.
Did you see Obama’s press conference on Wednesday? It’s like the press corps was disappointed that Obama didn’t come out with a “Kick Me” sign around his neck
