The labor force participation rate must be rising.
Damn the Democrats and the stable economy result of their policies. They should butcher the working class like proper Republicans and let the cut-throat rich drink their blood.
Seriously, if the Râs get the White House and start up their usual transfer of wealth, deficit spending, tax cuts to oligarchs, and elective warfare, the economy is screwed. Throw in theocratic policy to keep the fundies funding. Add in their reversal of environmental protection and increased use of fossil fuel in the face of our existential climate change crisis and we will be lucky to survive as a species.
What about the wage growth numbers. The numbers in January were pretty good, but I havenât seen anything since. This level of unemployment should be producing wage growth pressures.
Seriously, thereâs always a bump-up in the weeks leading up to Easter/Passover season. Next month will show these quarter-million jobs âmoderating.â I take nothing away from Obama Administration fixes to the economy but I want to warn everyone about jobs retaliation by the .01% should their puppets show big losses in the elections come November.
What, not this again!??!?! Thanks, Obama. Worst president evar!

Economy Adds 215,000 Jobs In March, Unemployment Nearly Unchanged At 5 Percent
#Obamaâs fault!
Oh woe! ~gnashing of teeth!~ Canât we just return to the George Dumbyaâ Bush economic dazeâ!? Republicans promise they can bring that economic paradise back!
Republicans: âItâs not too late! WE can turn this around. Vote GOP in November!â
#ThanksObama!
Still a weak economy but youâre right about the .01% and their WS âpositionsâ as they either get behind Hillary or âpositionâ their investments and sell short if either Trump or Bernie wins. They have to make up their minds soon! You have to, in a way, laugh. The one time when they donât have all the fucking leverage. Billionaireâs on suicide watch!
That is funny, but according to what I have read the unemployment rate rose from 4.9 to 5% because of an increase in labor participation which is a good thing. Generally when unemployment is around 5% or less there is pressure on wages to increase. I am just wondering if there is pressure now.
Your Easter/Passover theory sounds like the sort of âconventional wisdomâ one of the hosts on a business network show might throw out. Do you have any serious work supporting your Easter/Passover theory or are you just trying to get through the day without thinking too much.

And that ainât no joke! Happy April employment!
(But donât tell the GOP, they have a nasty reaction to new jobs reportsâŚ
I think we havenât celebrated Obamaâs presidency enough.
