Discussion: Early Romney 2012 Backer Now Has Doubts About 2016 Run

Discussion for article #232410

Thats because Romney 3.0 will suffer the same fate of previous models. He doesn’t have the numbers in the electoral college, but at least he shares that sad state of affairs with all the current GOP posers for the office.

I don’t think Romney could do any worse or better than the other GOP candidates against Hillary. Everyone says that Jeb Bush is the savior of the republican party, but most people when they hear that another Bush is running don’t get a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Mitt’s an old Koch-Tease…

Just puttin’ it out there to see who wants to touch it.

Any Romney campaign will be pulled down By Committee. Everything will be second guessed, focus-grouped and run through a gauntlet of opinions from anyone with a stake in the game, which will be everyone. There will be no cohesion, all oars will be pulling in different directions, etc. It should be fun to watch, and especially noteworthy will be the question of why should a person be elected President when he can’t even lead his own campaign.

Scott Walker or John Kasich could, under the right atmosphere of media lies, misinformation, and fear, win the Presidency in 2016. But I’m convinced that they’re the only ones who could. Romney and Bush would fail magnificently, and we’d better hope they keep this up and crowd out the GOP Governors that actually are electable.
