Discussion: Durbin: Loretta Lynch Being Asked To 'Sit In The Back Of The Bus' In Senate

Discussion for article #234442

SO lIBtards WOUld RATher HAVE the PREborN sit in THE Back OF the BUs?

I don’t understand. I thought the Republic party didn’t like the current AG…who’s said he’ll stay until a successor is confirmed.

Yea, yea, so every blue moon a Dem waddles out to the microphones to offer mild web snark to the voracious maw of wet diaper media and diaper content Rethugs.
Blah, blah, blah and blah.

I think this is the GOP’s upfront acknowledgement that they will never get the Black vote and could care less. It’s also partly an acknowledgement that they won’t get as much of the Latino vote and could care less. They’re gonna milk JEB’s Latino connection for as much as they can and just let it go at that.

At this point, they’re just gonna focus on the White, elderly vote.

These GOP temper tantrums get stranger and stranger. Durbin might be race baiting a bit, but that’s what the GOP gets for linking her confirmation to the inclusion of a poison pill in another piece of legislation and then gleefully skewering Dems as coddling sex-traiffickers because they won’t just suck it up and vote for the GOP bill.

Bravo Mr Durbin! Call these traitorous bigots out for what they are. Sick of cowardice and squishy-ness from Dems.

Democrats are finally getting their witty jibs and jabs in the headlines! Much more enjoyable than the asinine things the GOPers say.

Hmmm. I hadn’t thought about it like that but he has a point.
It seems to be an apt metaphor.

I don’t think they are even betting that much on Bush’s “latino connections”. Their focus in going to be squarely on turning out white voters, and damn everybody else.

The interesting thing to me is going to be how they play the misogyny card. Its different from any race card, because…there actually are lots of republican women (or at least WINOS…Women in Name Only). And most republican men have mothers, wives, daughters, mistresses (except of those that were probably hatched). So while they will want to go full on slut slamming, they will be forced to tone it down. Writing off blacks they can live with, they have successfully down that for decades. And so, they believe they can get away with doing the same regarding Hispanics for a few more cycles. But women…that’s another story.

They will be facing some harsh realities in 2016, though. It is simply not possible to get elected to the WH anymore with less than 25% of the Hispanic vote…and probably with less than 30% of the Hispanic vote. The electoral map just isn’t laid out to exclude that many voters, given the geographic concentrations of the Hispanic demographics. They cannot surrender Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah and have any chance of winning. Just losing AZ pretty much makes the math unworkable.

That’s the ticket! Tell 'em that EricHolder has decided to stay on…

LaughingLoudly!

AND that Micelle Obama is seriously thinking about running for President in 2016.

I agree and I believe the way they’ll “mask” the full on misogyny is to have more and more White conservative women as their mouthpieces. I think that having their women speak against other women doesn’t have quite the “ick” factor as minorities speaking out against their own people.

“This woman deserves fairness”

Everyone deserves fairness.

We still believe in American values, even if conservatives consider them “quaint”.

A steady diet of attitude like this and you might get every Dem standing on line around the block at their voting place come Nov 8, 2016. Just a thought.

My guess is they are somehow looking to make it about “roles” that women play. Pregnant and barefoot with dinner on the table for your man…GOOD. Cracking the glass ceiling…VERY BAD. But even that would require more finesse than I think they have.

Yes, a steady diet but big declarative Dems are like blue moons…
