I know?! Right?! This guy is an unbelievable douchebag! And yet he blends with today’s modern GOP… The drugs comment was an educated guess about the other unnamed matters for which DH used campaign funds in a social setting with other friends, that could taint the jury if known. Or maybe he spent money in gay bars. Who the hell knows – with this guy it could be anything.

Haha. I mean, right off the bat: “throw the wife under the bus.” That’s like the glove fitting in front of the jury right there. He might as well have been making reservations to Club Fed through Booking.com or Expedia.

“Under Margaret Hunter’s new plea deal, she will cooperate with prosecutors and has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy, a charge for which she faces up to five years in prison.”

I’m guessing the one about “a woman scorned” nosed out the one about thieves…

I’m going to guess that she flipped after the prosecutors showed her evidence of his cheating and that she was in denial up to then.

Given how quickly he used her as a bullet-proof vest, I doubt that his partnership with Margaret extends those benefits to him still.

I can hear the tv ad now:
“Nailing your mistress in our luxury suites - not a good idea.
Saving money by staying there the extra night with your wife? Now that’s a great idea - Get the best package deals for your wife and mistress at the Willard. What happens here is between you and housekeeping.”

What a skank!

And I’m talking about Duncan Hunter, not his wife. She’s just a tasteless idiot for marrying the greasy fuck in the first place, but I’ll bet she enjoyed the money while it lasted.

Hey, plane tickets for your rabbit ain’t cheap!

I was interested in the lobbyists’ involvement in the affairs as well, because now it’s about not just sex and cheating but possibly pay-to-play and corruption.

So what industries did these women represent, and did he vote in any bills or submit amendments to bills that might have affected the interests’ of their clients?

Hunter’s father used to be my congress person. He owned that seat, and gave it to his son. Fortunately, the LWV got a voter initiative passed and we had the districts redrawn by a bipartisan citizens group instead of the politicians. So, now, Scott Peters is my congress person.

San Diego county is gradually turning blue. The city of San Diego is already blue. And the wave is moving west to east, from the urban coast toward the inland area. There is still a deep red bastion on the far eastern part of the county ( and it is a really big county). Hunter’s district is back country. Lots of gun loving, flag waving, religious right. He kind of people who vote for Trump.

Hunter looks like dead meat. finally. Until now, no GOP were really publicly going for his seat. But now they are. Issa is thinking of coming back to Congress and vying for Hunters seat. He would have to move a little further away from where he lives now. Just a little. There are also 2 right wingers vying for the County Bd of Supervisor seat, Steve Vaus of Poway and Joel Anderson, former state senator ( or assemblyman or maybe both). The GOP thought they had a problem solved by offering Hunter’s seat to Anderson, and leaving Vaus to try to get the county supervisor seat of the reddest district. Because of term limits, it is possible that the County Bd of Supervisors may turn blue for the first time in forever. the GOP territory is getting smaller and smaller, but they still hold on in the rural east and some parts of north county, and that is the district Hunter represents.

Hunter’s predicament represents an opportunity for Dems to claim control of even more of the county. It would be tough for a Dem to win his seat. But the wrangling over which GOP is going to be heir apparent could cause some infighting. The GOP is going to have to spend lots of money and fight hard not to lose more ground in San Diego in 2020. Hunter’s situation is not helping them at all.

Know what they won’t be using campaign funds to pay for?

Getting tested…

Guess which story The New York Times isn’t covering? All The News That Is Fit To Print, unless it is embarrassing to Republicans. I look for to the NYT editor explaining to us all that they would have covered the story except they couldn’t identify “Individual 14,” or for Maggie to explain that everyone knows that Republicans cheat on their spouses and us campaign funds to pay for their affairs.

What could be better? Hire some smoking hot bombshells…dupe some congressman into fucking one or more of them and voila…no bribery needed ever again because now you can just extort him. It’s how the Russians do it.
