The moment these E-Mails were āleakedā the Clinton team should have been all over claiming that many were false and it would take months of work to figure out which were which. Thatās more or less what Macron did and it worked very well for him. That should be the response of ANYONE whose Emails are hacked, by the way.

Yes that is the real question. The Russian document wasnāt leaked by Wikileaks so how did the FBI end up with it? I smell Giulianiās dirty hands on this.

It seems like some of these guys ( FBI and USAs) get played all too easily. I am remembering TommyK, a queens real estate developer ( like our president) who bribed a congressman and had a $100 million mortgage fraud scheme going which was known to the FBI and the Justice department. TommyK then paid a shoe repair guy to sign a document, which he then turned over to the Feds, because the document was an illegal arms sale to Iran. The Feds then treated TommyK like an asset, and got the judge in San Diego to seal up all the proceedings and treat TommyK like a hero, although they said they couldnāt tell the judge why he was so important. The whole thing eventually fell apart when the wife of the nephew that TommyK was blaming for bribing Cunningham, gave TommyKās personal cell phone number to a reporter, who called him while he was in Greece, despite TommyK having turned over his passport(s) to the judge in San Diego.
Stuff like this makes these guys look really stupid.

I get that, but still since the hacking is illegal and anything could happen, it seems rather obvious to simply say that you need to verify the authenticity and that until you do, they should all be treated as dubious.

I think you are making an invalid inferential link between the scolding Comey gave Clinton early in the year, and the letter he sent late october.
Regardless, Trump is still unfit and unqualified to be President of the United States as his actions before and since the inauguration has proven.

This will be yet more evidence against the Trump criminals in the long run if, as is likely, this is the work of the Giuliani-connected corrupt NY FBI field office. I suspect the reason the FBI took this seriously is that this document came from within the FBI and so seemed as if it must be legitimate. They hadnāt yet realized the corruption within their ranks.
But this plot will be exposed along with everything else. And it is interesting that this is being leaked now isnāt it?
