Is there hope on the full vote? Pretty please?

It’s all going to come down to Susan f-ing Collins.

I think this took some balls. I feel the need to contribute to him.

Please Dems hold together, if he is confirmed let it be one party only and by the slimiest numbers.

That’s one of the gang of four. Let’s hear from the other three.

I’m wondering how many times the phrase, ā€œWhy can’t you just understand?!ā€ will be said in the Senate cloakroom.

Well done.

Sadly, not much. Unless Flake has a revelation and will vote no on the floor, it’s pretty much hopeless. Maybe Murkowski will show some guts, but Collins? That would take a miracle.

Almost totally completely always. But if Murkowski votes no, Collins may have to avoid her bullshit dance.

I’m torn – Flake’s YES is troubling, but I keep wondering whether Trump lackey Dershowitz would be making the rounds calling for a delay and an investigation if the GOP had enough votes to confirm. Is he serving Trump, or just trying to ingratiate himself back into the good graces of his neighbors?

My thought exactly. I just did.

Dershowitz is already persona non grata on Martha’s Vineyard. Do you think he’s going to risk his place on the cocktail weenie circuit and on FoxNews, too? I mean I’ll take it, sure, but how sick is all this?

I do not wish to have them subjected to abuse from conservatives, but I admit, I would like to hear from the other two accusers publicly – I’m actually kind of surprised they’re not all over the airwaves today explaining how the GOP refused to let them testify.

Maybe Flake’s "Yes’ in committee was like Collins’ ā€˜yes’ in committee for Betsy DeVos, for whom she voted ā€˜no’ when it got to the full Senate. Or did Flake actually declare that he would vote ā€˜yes’ on the floor vote as well?

The moment it becomes apparent Republicans have 50 votes plus Pence on board there will be a few Dem defections to the dark side. Manchin and Heitkamp will jump ship. Before the dust settles it’ll be 55-45 for Kavanaugh.
