Whatâs the big deal ? Donât you always offer female guests a swimsuit to change into when they come to visit wearing a dress ?

âHe made a comment, âNow thatâs a stunning Trump girl right there,â I was actually flattered by,â
(sigh)
The NYT didnât spin anything. You just didnât understand that you were being demeaned.
Between the lines: âIt worked! I told the truth about the way Donald treated me, and the New York Times printed it Then, Donald called me and offered me a whole bunch of money to say it wasnât true. Like clockwork!â
The general media needs to be extraordinarily vigilant in vetting stories - for the next 6 months Trumpâs extended network is going to be feeding the media a wide variety of âTrojan Horseâ - âScoopsâ - stuff that might initially look juicy - but when printed & scrutinized - crumbles & swings around and is used as a way to slam the media. âŚ
basically âHello media! - watch what you swallow - you are dealing with forces that want to poison you!â
Drumpf follows the old rules of business: âIf it flies, floats or fucks, rent donât buy.â
You know, thatâs a very arrogant position to take. The subtext of your statment is that a woman is too stupid to know the substance of her own experience of something. If she didnât feel demeaned, she is experiencing false consciouness. After all, sheâs just a dumb model, right?
It wasnât generalizing about models in any way. With his long history of demeaning woman, I thought the comment appropriate.
The article filled in another puzzle piece about how Trumpâs opinion of women starts with their appearance. Only bring in the pretty ones to take lunch orders, comment on âcandyâ when a top person in his group gains weight, make remarks like isnât my 16-year-old daughter hot.
To paraphrase the brilliant Dr. King: I have a dream that my daughters and sisters will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the shape of their body, but by the content of their character.
I am a 68 year-old woman and when I read the NYT piece I didnât find what was described by her to be demeaning. He didnât stand there and watch her change into the bathing suitâŚhe has a pool, heâs rich, and he keeps bathing suits in case people come unprepared. So what?
And the âStunning Trump girlâ comment is old fashioned and not PC, but demeaning? Only by someone who is looking to be demeaned. Sounds like she liked the comment.
Trumps problems with women are legion, but this is not a good example of it.
She is lying. A reporter doesnât put into an article an event that did not occur. It has to be in the reporterâs notes, which obviously it was.
You are assuming she is now telling the truth.
Cliches donât add anything.
Never heard this advice before. Itâs very original.
STOP Worrying YOUR pretty LITTLE head AbOUt this STUFF!!!1!one!1!!!
You flatter me!
Trump has destroyed his brand. You look at him now and you just see a sleazy, slimy out of control loud mouth.
The evolution of their ârelationshipâ is what demeaned her. I think how I would like my daughter to be treated in a similar situation. I didnât read into what she said⌠I read the article and it seems like Trump knows what women could add value to his life, and uses them. He just does it with more sexist comments than do other men.
