She’s Republican. She’s temperamentally conservative. If she does trek to the polls and cast a ballot it will be for a Republican.
I dislike party labels. However Republicans and conservatives have it all wrong in my mind. Policies. Ideas. Attitudes. If the Democrats nominated Al Sharpton I’d vote for him over ANY Republican they put forward. I can’t see a Republican thinking any differently about how they vote. We’re polarized. The opposing party is the enemy, period. Literally the enemy. They’re not even fellow citizens. They’re alien beings, so different from us it’s difficult to even conceive of them as human. And I’m sure Republicans feel that way about Democrats.

Not so surprising – there are people of both the male and female persuasions for whom attractivity is gauged by the thickness of the wallet. Smell of money covers a lot of stink for many people.

Dr. Coyote, a lot of politics is false and simplistic,. Trump’s hatred of women (except if they’re 26, gorgeous and coming on to him) is stupid and self destructive. Have you ever noticed we’ve heard about this father who gave him a million dollars to get started but not a thing about his mother? Did he even have a mother? Maybe he is sui generis.

Hillary needs a whole deck of “women-cards” to sell as a fundraiser, with herself as the Ace of Hearts.
Nothing wrong with being on a card…it beats binders.
Shouldn’t be hard to come up with 52 historic women for that deck, and I know which Ace Harriet Tubman would be, but i can’t say it because some might consider it NOT PC.

You’re also a person who is very well educated on the various issues we face and you follow politics closely. You’re aware of what has happened to the GOP over the last few decades. You see the obvious racism, misogyny, and general loathing of the other. In other words, you’re a terrible yardstick by which to measure the average voter. Most of us who post here are as well.
