He’s going to have to start with his own employees who earn $4 an hour less than their colleagues in Vegas.

Donald Trump Reverses Stance On Raising Minimum Wage
♫â™Ș Because I’m easy come, easy go,
Little high, little low,
Anyway the wind blows
doesn’t really matter to me, to me. ♫â™Ș

I hope so. But as a born bully, who sets things up very much in his favor and has no interest in fighting fair, he’s very hard to beat on his own terms. What he did with Cruz and the “New York values” thing was pretty good. Are there moderators who’ll actually hold a debate on substantial policy matters, and not let Trump walk all over them? Would Trump participate in a debate set up that way? Me, I’m more optimistic about the advertising side. There are so many ways to hit him with that.

As soon as it’s obvious that portions of the media won’t require access any longer?
Say around mid-Sept-to-early-Oct-- once it becomes apparent he cannot win the presidency?
He’s going to be mauled by the scrutiny of those in the media waiting for his political fall.
The MSM wants spectacle!
And the best comes when they have hold of the narrative.

Not sure Trump the Weak understands the difference between President and Dictator. “I’m looking at the numbers but haven’t made a decision”?? So he thinks he can raise the minimum wage as President?

First line deals with the MSM
the rest is Trump.

If there ever was a tag-team of parasites HELL-bent on destroying the United States of America it is the MainStreamMedia and Trump.

They are making money off of each other
the money comes from the people and 40%+ are okay with it.

I have not looked at Chuck Todd say anything on the teevee and I grieve for people who put the least bit of stock in a syllable he says.

Actually, it’s no change. Edited out of this story was the part where he said he’d leave it up to the states. Leave things exactly the way they are, in other words.

In this same interview, he said he’d negotiate against himself with Congress until his seven digit tax cut plan for the 1% became a tax increase. And they just lapped it up.

He’s going to ride the vapid reductionism to Beltway MSM narrative train to a frame where the reporting on all his plans is completely at odds with the actual plans themselves. The Beltway MSM asshats lack the tools to deal even with double talking mendacity at the Romney/Rove levels. They’re utterly helpless in the face of the liquid bullshit cannon that is Trump.

*Edit I am editing this to add that HE NOWHERE ACTUALLY SAID HE WAS FOR RAISING THE GODDAMN MINIMUM WAGE!!! He said “people have got to get more.” The proper characterization is “evaded the question” or “deflected the question with noncommittal platitude.” When a witness does this in court, the lawyer examining him says "objection, nonresponsive, move to strike. That is, you object to the witness’s answer being made of record because it fails to respond to the question actually answered. In MSM Asshat World, however, you just impose you own preferred answer on the meaningless bullshit and report it as news.

And we believe him because? Not to mention that if a president trump were elected with a republican congress they would tell him where to shove his higher minimum wage.

Are you being sarcastic? My meter is completely broken due to Poe’s Law.

If you aren’t, how can you not see pshah’s point. I will bring back the companies that went overseas for cheap labor. I will make them pay even higher $$, they’ll want to even. The only way this would happen’s if Trump has something on the CEO them, like photos.

And yes, I am overly literal.

Not only that
I think that Trump is looking forward to a “debate”. Why?

Look at the normal I.Q. curve. Those on the left side can vote too.

“I am looking at it, and I haven’t decided in terms of numbers. But I think people have to get more,” Trump said on ABC News’ “This Week.” (That Donald)

‘That Donald’ needs to brush up on just what the job of a POTUS entails. Congress gets a bit of a say in this, too, you know.

Thanks for that. Needed to be said.

This is why nobody should underestimate Donald Trump. There are so many (dumb) people out there who vote based on a single issue. We just got rid of a conservative PM here in Canada that systematically identified and built policies for these people - he won three elections. They’re dangerous, these single-issue voters, and Trump is after them.

Are Drumpf’s voters people or sheeple? I think they’re sheeple, and so @teenlaqueefa might be right: people aren’t that stupid. Sheeple, on the other hand are clearly at least that stupid.

He just lost all the small business Republicans.
He might be polling 30 percent next week (currently he’s at 40).

Spoken like a true liberal.

Obama’s take-over plan is working perfectly.
