I did. I try make sure I’ve actually read the details before going on… but yeah, a mile wide and an inch deep…and basically going back to the status quo ante, only worse.
I also notice Trump’s “plan” also does away with the medical spending ratio requirement in the PPACA, which means the insurance corporations can go back to jacking up rates solely for increased profits and no other reason.

He does not see all the middle men like insurance companies as being any part of the problem.
And no mention of single payer.
Let the insurance companies provide insurance plans for driver-less cars and people who fly drones. Require gun owners to insure their weapons and secure them. but get them out of healthcare.

If the GOTP members of congress did that then they would have spent the last six years working to amend and improve the ACA instead of pissing away taxpayers money and time on the many many votes to repeal it.
Agree, it didn’t even reduce malpractice premiums.
Hospitals are deep in the red, even in states that took the Medicaid money. Insurance premiums are going through the roof. Mine have risen over 100% in 3 years. All the ACA did was transfer all the costs of insuring the poor to the middle class – who were already paying high premiums. That is some kind of genius. Corporations are now being handed 25 to 50% increases in the annual open enrollments.
So, let’s review: ACA doesn’t cover everybody, didn’t lower insurance premiums, didn’t lower health care costs. Somebody please tell me why we should keep this piece of s___ program in place.

At first glance, the Trump plan has two very good reforms.
First, it solves the main cause of the “problem of pre-existing conditions”—tax policy that rigs the market in favor of employer-based health insurance—by equalizing tax structure for business and individuals, thus opening up a vibrant individual health insurance market that will lead to health insurance being as portable as auto, life, and homeowners insurance. And it will attack the high cost of insurance by knocking down inter-state trade barriers to true, national competition among insurers (a power that the Commerce Clause of the Constitution gives to Congress). Both problems are the result of prior government market interventions, and which ObamaCare disingenuously sought to “fix” by piling on more government controls, rather than repealing the prior controls.
The Left will hate this program, because it leads to less government control and more individual self-reliance. The only kind of “plan” the Left will accept is one that empowers government masterminds and forbids individuals from planning for their own healthcare. If less government control and more individual self-reliance is what Trump means by “make America great again,” it’s a good sign.

My premiums have increased but in a somewhat stable fashion–
far less than the annual increases I’d experienced prior to 2012.
Plus? Had the pre-existing conditions clause not been enacted
precisely when it was in 2010-- I would not be alive to type this post.
So, again-- maybe you just need some help finding the right fit for your budget.
Maybe you qualify for a subsidy or a tax credit and are unaware?

What Obama should have done was propose something like medicare for all and then had some republican plant to propose Obamacare and then the republicans would have supported it wholeheartedly and we’d be done with this bs because they could claim they did something that help folks.
Whether you agree withe the Tea Party or not, In 2010 there was a grassroots effort to hold our politicians responsible for their actions as “employees” of the American people. Since 2010 there have been lots of incumbents on BOTH sides of the isle that have been shown the door for their lack interest in the job they were sent there by US to do!!
Bernie Sanders is another shining example of Americas pissed off electorate! There is a movement in OUR country that has had enough, and its not just a “right or left” thing either…Its everyone, look around!

I have ten employees and pay 50% of their coverage. I have seen a 30% increase in premiums in the last 2 years and we had Romneycare here in MA. so it was ALREADY expensive! Some of the largest increases we have not yet experienced but are right around the corner!!! Hold On!!
Small businesses that are trying to do the right thing are really being hurt by this…

Have you read the ACA? From what I understand its 20,000 pages…I admit it, like 95% of the people that voted it into law,I have not read it!!! But you sir are welcome to and brief me when you are done…say in 6 months or so???

You know, real health economists publish real studies on the impact of various policies on the cost of health care. You can read them. You can look them up on the Internet, this very service you’re using to defend bankrupt GOP talking points. Try it. You might learn something. But, given your proclivities, I doubt it.
