I think that
- Paul Ryan is terrified that Donald Trump will emasculate him as he has the rest of the Republican āleadershipā (currently an oxymoron)ā¦as he has aspirations for presidency in the future.
- The Republican establishment is joining forces w/ their rich backers to eviscerate Trump, though it is just as likely that he will do that to them. They are also terrified.
- Trump is probably going through the motions, but he IS a deal maker. I think he would be willing to make some deals if it would serve him and if he didnāt think he was going to be dismissed, they would try to control him, or double deal him.
- Karl Rover (not a typo), the Kochs, etcā¦are greedy, selfish, vicious monsters, but I think that Trump is more clever than they are. The Kochs are used to people bending over for them, so they have never developed cage fighting skills. Rover has been in a bubble for so long that I think heās gone a little soft. Most of these people are suburban or gated community white boysā¦they are not street smart. They were stupid enough and arrogant to think that they could pull the wool over the masses of the Republican party without giving them anything in return.
- My money is on Trump winning this. They could end up really damaging himā¦but I just think heās not going to go down without taking some people with him.
