Discussion for article #240921
I hear E! needs to fill some airtime. That should be a good fit there Donald if nobody else will play nice with you.
Thanks for the fix.
I just wanted to say that there goes 40% of Big Door’s airtime.
Maybe he’ll buy Fox.
It’s currently owned by an Australian tabloid mogul and a Saudi prince, At least Trump was born in the USA!!!1!
“…I won’t be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future.”
48-72 hours, tops, is what this will last.
Then he can make another media splash announcing Ailes has capitulated, Megyn Kelly is a poopy-head and he just ***loves*** Fox News. Rinse and repeat.
That’s right, bitch. Pick up your binky and go home.
Trump’s on/off relationship with Fox schtick is getting boring. I intend to troll them both after Trump’s demise.
NO! Please stay on Fox News where I can safely ignore you.
Actually, that’s not true.
First, while Murdoch was born in Australia, he is a naturalized US citizen.
The Saudi prince owns about 6% of the stock in NewsCorp, which is the parent company of FoxNews.
Thousands of other people also own stock in NewsCorp.
Murdoch and his children own the controlling interest.
I wonder…what affect will this have on the Fox-loving Trump followers?
Another heart to heart with Ailes coming?
Thus buying another couple weeks of playing nice (for mutual benefit)?
Or has the establishment GOP finally put their foot down?
This is a power play: it’s about punishing Ailes and taking milk from his baby. Trump can do this because is seems CNN is more than prepared to move towards 100% Trumpeting; that means Trump is threatening Ailes where he lives: ratings.
I like Trump’s chances in this conflict.
.@FoxNews has been treating me very unfairly & I have therefore decided that I won’t be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future.

Fox Business/WSJ Republican Debate
Aired On: Fox Business Network
Location: Wisconsin (ironic)
Sponsors: Fox Business Network, Wall Street Journal
Candidates: To be determined (and yes he will still be in the top five when that debate occurs.)
Things like this make me thing that a big part of Trump really wants to lose. But he keeps doing this stupid shit and then he does fine in the polls.
In the long run, he’ll fail. Then, Carson will fail. Then, Cruella won’t get votes. And then Bush will win.
Amongst the multitudes, yet another example of the lack of temperament necessary to be President of the United States!
Trump knows that the push to rally around one establishment candidate has begun, and that the establishment is making him target #1. This is an attack to blow up the establishment propaganda arm pre-emptively.
I don’t know how it plays out yet, however. The first time, Fox was kind of out there on their own. Now the establishment is definitely united in seeing Trump gone. It should be interesting to watch develop.
Ultimately, Trump needs Fox at the end of the day, or at least needs them to stay somewhat neutral. Because one thing Fox does do well, is when they decide to go negative on a story, they do it non-stop and just over saturate their viewers. Trump couldn’t survive that, while also fighting off negative campaign ads, trail rhetoric and not being able to do interviews to put his story out there.
There are thousands of news venues allowing a person to stay fully aware of what’s going on in the world. Avoiding Trump regardless the source is easy. How difficult is it to never watch CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, CBN, FOX or any of the other places he shows up? Yet still know more than anyone watching all of them? I don’t think I’ve viewed more than 15 consecutive seconds of Trump doing or saying anything in years.
If you think Megyn Kelly’s mean to you wait until you meet the U.S. Congress.
