With a 2.5% margin of error, this puts Trump’s support comfortably in the Crazification Factor of 27%.

Why is this surprising? The GOP have spent thirty years bad mouthing professional politicians, and as such, they now have their ideal candidate- a non-politician who says what the Base wants and doesn’t actually have any plans to fix the country.

They are reaping what they have sewn, and at the rate things are going, the Grim Reaper may be here for the United States any day now.

Ben Carson in 2nd place is a bit of a surprise.

I wonder what the “would never support” numbers were for McCain and Romney at this point in 2008 and 2012?

Well, Carson has been in 2nd place in more than one poll.

I wonder how anyone tells JEB! that Ben Carson - of all people - has a better message/vision/charisma/whatever than JEB! ??

Maybe they just don’t tell him about those polls ? “JEB! JEB! Good news ! Once again you lead with 20% can’t loose…”

The tie with Rubio and Cruz must also hurt…

They are either former Trump supporters, those who voted for Cruz or Rubio or folks who are supposedly tired of dynasties.

Good to see that the sleazy John Bush campaign is in a steady downward spiral and imploding.

Conservatives are exhausted by the incompetence, ignorance and gluttony for power in the Bush dynasty. America cannot afford another Bush in the White House.

The poll also found Trump led the GOP’s “No Way” list of candidates who voters say they would never support at 26 percent.

I wonder who came in second…

John Bush probably. The mainstream media is afraid of the Bushes and won’t report on that.

Thanks, but not really an explanation.

At one time I thought it was Grandmas with a “He Is A NeuroSurgeon” fixation, but there can’t be that many of those.

Harry Potter.

Wrong. Conservatives just don’t think he’s mean enough, although he is.

I wondered the same.
Carson consistently says things that are really twisted and icky. Maybe that has appeal to some. And there is a small population of right wing African-Americans. Martin Luther King’s niece Alveda is Republican and a strident anti-abortion activist. No kidding, I remember seeing vids of her at McCain rallies singing (I’m not making this up) ‘We Shall Overcome’.
