Another example of why I will NEVER vote for a Republican ever again.
They say that when people donât want to hear what a politician has to say any more, itâs over. Personally, I reached that point about 3 years ago with Trump, but I canât help but think that his empathy-devoid, self-serving insults and attacks on the actual victims of these domestic terrorism events are dragging more and more people over that line.
ââThe president is going to continue to draw contrasts,â White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders proclaimed on Monday."
And doing so herself, she said in answer to a question, that the Press as a whole is not the enemy, but only certain members of the Press. They know who they are.
I do hope against hope that enough sane-minded Republicans join with us and the ever increasing number of Independents to vote as many of these GOP trolls out of office as possible next week.
âŚboth Trump and his party have sharply increased their use of deeply polarizing messaging in the raceâs closing weeks, including some comments and ads that their opponents have viewed as racist and anti-Semitic.
Thatâs because they are racist and anti-Semitic.
Still, there are some early signs they might not be helping the presidentâs party.
Great!
Trumpâs behavior with regard to domestic terror will have only a nominal â maybe measurable, but nominal effect on his popularity.
People who support him do so for reasons of greed, self-interest and hate. If youâre wealthy or a bigot, heâs your treasure, what you could only wish for and a long time coming. If, say, Geo Wallace had become president, he might have become a Trump. Thank heaven, weâll never know. Trump is just reapinâ whatâs been sown starting with Gingrich.
GOOD!
You wanted that caravan to be the only thing anyone talked about. Womp womp.
@dark_hawk_98 - I passed over a woman who was a really good friend at one time and voted for her opponent today for a judicial bench because she is running as a Repug and I wonât vote for one either. They are disgusting.
At this point, Iâm not sure I want to meet the undecideds.
Why the dip in the polls now? Youâd think those on board with him after all this wouldnât be upset about little un-detonated bombs and some old people dying.

[/quote]Exactly. Itâs not just opponents who see them as racist and anti-Semitic. Any reasonable, rational person would see them as racist and anti-Semitic. More importantly, Trumpublican supporters see them as racist and anti-Semitic, and thatâs why they like them, thatâs why they work.
Amazing how the sanctuary city of Los Angeles was able to reach out across Mexico into Central America, to capture that violent, white supremacists terror suspect Its almost as if they have a good relationship with people who knows that part of the world very well.
I think we folks here can comprehend greed and racism and evil more easily then we can understand people who just donât take an interest at all until a week before the election or a day before or in the voting booth.
Cornyn would not be tweeting the hate so boldly if they were sure of their hold on the Senate. Vote.
Rich WASPS have been saying that Jews have been buying the government since the ink was still wet on the Constitution. Theyâll have lunch with Persian men, Jewish men, Arab men and Columbian men, then go back to facebook in the evening to demand that these same groups be rounded up. Itâs this chickenshit hypocritical two-step being done by so many thatâs really causing us damage.
From your keyboard to the screens of the gods and the goddesses.
I have never voted for a Republican, ever. In a long list of mistakes Iâve made in my life I look on this as a little feather in my hat.
Eating crow for some of these people is hard.
(Waiting for a corvid joke now)
Last month, there was a minor story about how Seth Klarman and Leslie Wexner, two pro-Israel Republican donors, were ceasing to contribute because of Trump. I expect there to be a similar GOP exodus this week.
