Thanks, but no thanks.
Fool me once, your fault.
Fool me twice, my fault.
âWe dont negotiate with redactionistsâ.
You seeâŚtheyâre not so tough after all. This is about the 5th or 6th time that either Barr or DOJ has made reference to the Barr contempt resolution. He is bothered by it. Donât be intimidated by his drunken sailor routine. Heâs not that tough. Keep pushing.
Especially the contemptible onesâŚ
The response to DOJ should be the shortest letter in the history of Congress. One word will suffice, although two would make the point a little more emphatically.
Uh, no. Theyâre not going to negotiate in good faith. Whatever they turn over wonât be nearly enough. This needs to go to a damn judge and let it be decided by the courts. Plus, Barr needs to be held in contempt regardless of what happens with the full Mueller Report. He lied to the American people and thatâs reason enough.
âIf youâd like to do this dance for 6 to 8 more weeks we are happy to oblige.â
Barr has shown that he has nothing but contempt for Congress. Nadler and Pelosi should meet his contempt for them with contempt for him.
Yep! Just a few days ago, Barr was saying something about how reputations donât matter, that we all die or something. That struck me as an act then and thatâs especially true now.
Barr has proven beyond a doubt that he canât be trusted in any show of âgood faithâ.
He already said in regards to damaging his reputation in the CBS interview âwe all dieâ.
Have to assume any offer is a bait and switch.
Unfortunately, Chiselinâ Trump has all of the best words. -sigh-
Well, at least democrats were polite, patient, and always willing to negotiate while the republic fell.
OT, but surprising. They even say they have the votes to override a veto!
How to read this-
DOJ: We know youâll eventually get what you want; how can we screw you along the way?
What Nadlerâs response should be-
Nadler: Time to start holding your Deputies in Contempt tooâŚ
An offer to ânegotiateâ is nothing but another stalling tactic. The contempt vote needs to stand because Barr is contemptible.
Skip the.blather. if they try to prevent investigations move directly to impeachment. If they still withhold information impeach on that basis plus quite a number of counts for which sufficient facts are already public.
Just for old times sake
Well thatâs a crap offer.
