Deplorable desperation!
I really bigly very very hate these fuckers.
How exactly is the letter ‘lurid?’ It’s not even mildly surprising.
Rahm Emanuel to Jeff Sessions, “Go fuck yourself”.
All cities that Drumpf lost – bigly.
Milwaukee County, rather than the city of Milwaukee, has received a letter. Although the city has a very similar policy, the county has gotten the attention.
All this appears consistent with Trump’s promise to create more jobs . . . in this case, for attorneys.
Why these eight cities were singled out of the nearly 600 sanctuary jurisdictions across the country is unclear.
Technically speaking, the letter doesn’t make it clear but every person of color knows exactly why these cities were singled out
At least one city (I think more) have already filed a 10th amendment lawsuit on this issue. I’d imagine this gets blocked by the courts – at least as long as there are pending lawsuits.
Jeff Sessions held a brief press conference from an area that harbors more criminals per-square-mile than any other part of the US: Wall Street.
Presumably this part here that reads like something the Klan used to surreptitiously stuff under people’s windshield wipers.
“The number of murders in Chicago has skyrocketed, rising more than 50 percent from the 2015 levels. New York City continues to see gang murder after gang murder, the predictable consequence of the city’s ‘soft on crime’ stance. And just several weeks ago in California’s Bay Area, after a raid captured 11 MS-13 members on charges including murder, extortion and drug trafficking, city officials seemed more concerned with reassuring illegal immigrants that the raid was unrelated to immigration than with warning other MS-13 members that they were next.”
It’s kinda like “Dreamers, don’t rest easy.” Sessions want to fill the private prisons trumPP will be building with anybody and everybody but immigrants most of all.
@jjwhack @socalista
San Francisco is suing the PP badministration because of its sanctuary cities policies.
“You can’t put a gun to the head of states and localities to get them to comply with what you might want at the federal level,” Mr. Herrera [City Attorney] said.
OT:
The people who live near Maralago are trying to read the tea leaves to see if Trump will still be coming down there in the warm season. They are hoping not. It’s causing a nightmare down there for neighbors and businesses. But here is one clue that I found interesting:
Visas haven’t expired — Sixty-four employees at Mar-a-Lago operate on federal government H-2B visas, according to data from the U.S. Labor Department. Those visas expire May 31, leaving Trump several more weeks of time before the club might be understaffed for a presidential visit. It’s unclear exactly how many workers remain at the club year-round and whether it would be enough to run the club — or Trump’s private residence — with an influx of security and staff.
This is fascinating. It’s from a small newspaper in Vermont. Almost everyone who touches a dairy cow in Vermont is an immigrant from Latin America. The dairy farms there depend on immigrant labor. And the farmers love the people who work for them. Excerpt:
Most send over half of their wages home to support family in Mexico and build toward a better life when they return.
Most are undocumented.
“Our estimate is that about 90 percent of hired workers in Vermont’s dairy industry are immigrant workers,” said Will Lambek, an organizer with the advocacy group Migrant Justice. “That doesn’t mean that all of them are undocumented, but the majority are. That’s our count from our years of working with dairy farms.”
Baker explained that the shift to the migrant, Hispanic workforce began about 15 years ago in response to an ongoing shortage of farm labor……
Open Door Clinic Outreach Nurse and Nurse Case Manager Julia Doucet said that local farmworkers are reporting increased levels of stress and anxiety and are increasingly reluctant to leave the farm for groceries or other errands. The clinic has begun a new study documenting how the current climate is affecting workers overall. They’ve also begun teaching key English phrases such as “I would like to remain silent” and “I would like to call my lawyer.”
Just back from a visit to a local dairy farm, Doucet also emphasized that the cost to Addison County goes far beyond dollars.
“One of the farmers today said, ‘You know, what scares me the most is that they’re going to come and take these guys away.’ He said, ‘It’s not because my farm would stop dead in its tracks. It’s not because I would be losing income out my eyeballs. But because I care about these guys. They’ve been on my farm for three years, and they feel like family. And I’m terrified of losing my family.”
Is the island in the Pacific a sanctuary?
Gee, I feel left out! Austin is not included and Austin and Travis County have been right in their face about this.
Maybe because Alex Jones lives here they want to leave us alone. HAHAHA!
BTW - Alex has his own problems this week.

Well, they’re just trying to piggy-back on the same method they used to push all the states into setting the legal drinking age to 21. Lawn Order, always…the iron fist of freedom.
Chicago will tell them to go pound sand. The dig at violent crime is also inaccurate. Total shootings are down for 2017 so far. The violence has nothing to do with immigration. It has everything to do with poverty and gangs. The Austin neighborhood.isn’t exactly fertile ground for MS-13, the resurrected boogeyman.

Getting tough before he’s indicted on conspiracy charges in N.Y. State… he’s going down along with the entire tRUMP treason cabal.
