Firing Mueller…1,2,3…

So, if all of the evidence Mueller has gathered is sent over to the House Judiciary Committee now, can the Dems hold on to it until January? Also, what might the Republicans on that committee do to sabotage any attempts to act on that evidence between now and January?

First, this probably isn’t legal since Sessions was fired and did not resign. Secondly, if there’s one thing I know for sure it’s that Robert Mueller is smarter than any of the people connected to this administration. He absolutely, unequivocally knew this was coming. We all did. So, I’ve got to believe that he has been preparing for it all along. I’m not going to get my panties into anymore of a bunch than they already are from last night (I already look like a damn pound puppy from crying over Beto, Gillum, and Abrams).

ā€œNow that Jeff Sessions is gone, Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker has oversight of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, the Justice Department says.ā€

I think they misspelled ā€œobstructionā€.

I wish I had a dollar for everybody who predicted this.

Whitaker is in an interesting position. Since he’s already gone on record opposing the investigation, any finding he makes of misbehavior by Mueller, or any orders he gives to change the scope of the investigation, will be tainted.

And attorneys general have gone to jail before.

Difficult to see the events of the last hour or so as anything other than a coordinated cover-up by the republican party having been triggered by the loss of the House.

1.Sessions fired.
2. Rosenstein removed.
3. The Mueller Probe to be shutdown.
4. The current Congress to rubber-stamp all activities before power changes hands.

This is already a Constitutional crisis as Whitaker is a full-on Trump stooge.

I hope you’re right. He’s really shitting himself now, but holds a lot of cards. I predict a full-blown constitutional crisis. You just know the Repub Congress will cover his ass.
