A light in the tunnel
How about somebody ask the FBI for some disclosure on possible foreign interference with our election because I really care far more about that than I do any more Hillary Clinton email.
I want to know what the FBI knows about Russia and Trump and I want to know soonest.
At this point there had better be a round the clock effort to determine anything of importance and a full accounting to the public of what is discovered - or ruled out - prior to the end of this week.
An apology to the nation for this fiasco and perhaps a resignation or two would be nice as well, but I wonât hold my breath waiting on those.
Not to mention that Comey refused to disclose the ongoing investigation of Russian hacking, saying âOctobe 8â is too close to the election, but somehow October 28th is not???
The two âweaponsâ the GOP has are doubt and actual âwrongdoingâ. Right now, the former is much more effective. Dealing with it swiftly will have a great deal of upside for Hill at this point. Reminds me of the guy with the blowtorch in the film âBarbershopâ, when the torch was cut off.
Imagine that these emails are nothings (duplicates, routine messages, etc.)âŚand then imagine an aroused Democratic Party on the eve of the most important election in our lifetimes.
Yeah thatâs my point and also why isnât this far more important for the public to know than the email that apparently the FBI doesnât even know the content of yet.
Come the fuck on - I think foreign interference in our election is way more important.
âThe Department will continue to work closely with the FBI and together, dedicate all necessary resources and take appropriate steps as expeditiously as possible.â
A separate letter from the FBI promised:
Director Comey will fully clarify this issue, and answer all questions, in a live press conference.
On November 9.
A quick response isnât going to gain much traction in the GOP fever swampsâŚ
Jan Brady: turnout,turnout,turnout
This letter was sent TO six United States Senators, including Senators Leahy, Carper, Feinstein and Cardin.
That âTOâ means a lot right now.
Wading through Anthony Weinerâs email must be a trip. That would take a while, Iâm sure.
And donât forget the âattachments.â
Seems like you would need some kind of digital Lysol or PenicillinâŚ
Not a bitâŚI agree with you. But bear in mind that people like Sam Wang are aware of the fluctuations of the naysayer voters and the doubter votersâŚwho have been the ones who got Hillâs support to what it was after the Debates. Some of Trumpâs âgainâ has been regression towards the mean. Because of Comey-gate, we will lose a few more people.
But we will make up enough to win comfortably.
Yeah, sure. There is no âquickâ response quick enough to put the spotlight back onto Putinâs useful idiot.
I wish LBJ had emails we could wade through. Did you ever here the tape of him telling his tailor to lower the crotch on his pants? Awesome.
This reads like a boilerplate response from a lawmakerâs office to a constituent. âI will keep your thoughts on this matter in mind as I continue to work on this important issue.â
Good. I have a lot more faith in the DOJ than the FBI at present.
How about finding out who these rogue FBI agents are and firing them on the spot for unprofessional behavior? Just completely unacceptable conduct on their part.
Careful! Might be a virusâŚ
