Innocent people don’t act like this.
The stench of GOP fear in Swampington DC must be overwhelming.
Better get USEPA on to that fast…
The GOP is out to prove the theory that government doesn’t work.
Here’s the real witch hunt.

FBI doubles number of staffers dedicated to complying with GOP’s Clinton requests
What, exactly, does the FBI think the Democratic majority is going to do or say about these obviously partisan FBI investigations once the Dems take over the House (and maybe the Senate) in January?
By the time this all sorts out Mueller, Comey and Hillary will all be in jail and Trump will be attending his third inauguration. With SCOTUS Chief Justice Duterte holding the Bible.
Who, says there’s going to be one?
Don’t count your chickens.
Fair enough, maybe there won’t be. But the FBI should still be considering that possibility - unless they already know the fix is in to ensure there won’t be a Democratic majority in either branch of Congress in nine months (plus several days).
The GOP will not give up until they force their alternative version on the nation. I’m not going to ask anymore why they despise the American way of life – they hate it because they’re not allowed to get away with their (un)natural attraction to demagoguery and plans for massive theft, as well as their penchant for bald-faced lying and projecting all their misdeeds onto their political opposition.
I don’t trust Horowitz and I have a bad feeling he’s going to try to please everyone with a false equivalence sort of narrative…“both sides are wrong” etc. etc. I bet he doesn’t even talk to the judges who issued these warrants to inquire as to why they found the evidence presented sufficient to satisfy the standard for granting the warrant. He’ll give some lame excuse like “I don’t have authority to conduct oversight of the judicial branch” when in fact interviewing the judges would simply be a fact-gathering mission for his oversight of DOJ/FBI etc.
Cool! It only took you 6 minutes learn the difference between a noun (Democrat) and an adjective (Democratic).
So are you really saying that the FBI should fear retribution for not toeing one Party’s line? I mean I certainly agree with holding people accountable for provable wrongdoing, but saying to the whole organization, “That’s a nice FBI you got there. It’d be a real shame if something bad happened to it.”???
Also, just to be clear, I think the FBI has been broken since the start. Everyone knows about Hoover, but William Sessions, Robert Mueller and James Comey weren’t boy scouts either, no matter how much my fellow Liberals want to put the latter two up on pedestals, fervent in their belief that the enemy of their enemy is their friend…
An alternate example is that this is nothing more than throwing red meat to the rabid Republican’t base, and after a “thorough” investigation the IG releases a report sometime after the election that concludes that there was no there there, well after a summer of screaming Fox “News” headlines and the damage of November 8 is done…
The same DOJ IG that provided the “cover” for Trump to fuck-over McCabe and screw him out of his pension?
Yeah. That same group of shuffling butt-monkeys eager to kiss Trump’s ass.
This seems like the GOTO activitiy for this corrupt, mobbed-up White House; Get the DOJ IG to produce exactly what you want to see, then use it to fire people who are close to uncovering your Treason and Criminal Activities.
Guess where the NEW HEAD OF THE FBI will come from? and/or the new AG?
That’s right, promoted from within the DOJ IG office.
Quid-Pro-Quo indeed.
Here’s the thing about this - this is straight off of Fox News and that’s why they’re doing it. For their base. Before November.
That’s as may be - it doesn’t mean they mishandled a FISA warrant.
House Judiciary Committee under Goodlatte is pursuing an investigation that seems to be largely redundant of the IG’s office.
Presumably, they will also investigate the IG for bias if the IG fails to find wrongdoing in the Page warrant application and handling of the Clinton investigation.
I don’t disagree with that, seeing as the record already shows that it’s almost impossible to get rejected for a FISA warrant, even ones based on the flimsiest of reasons.
I know that - that’s what made it so egregious when W totally ignored the FISA court altogether and never even bothered to get after-the-fact warrants.
