Discussion: DOD Says It Won’t Foot Bill For Housing Detained Immigrant Families On Bases

This is just a shell game. Taxpayers are footing the bill. It’s the right thing to do but never should have happened. This is one of 10,000 examples of this administration wasting taxpayers money or misusing it.

“DOD is not going to have any involvement, any interaction with the children or the families,” the spokesperson said.

Cooties.

Yeah, good luck with that. Trump doesn’t reimburse anyone.

DOD, sounds like you want to distance yourself from this debacle.

Can’t imagine why…

With all the money DoD is saving by not having joint exercises with the South Koreans, there should be plenty left over for a few thousand refugees. But maybe Trump was lying when he said stopping the exercises would save lots and lots of money. If only there was some sure-fire method of telling when Trump is lying.

And this is why the Federal Budget is not like a business or family’s budget.

And maybe the DoD sees the shitstorm coming with the NATO meeting and the Putin meeting and they take planning seriously, very seriously.

Even though they have plenty of money, way more than they need.

Yeah OK. Play your games. Bill the US government. It’s all funny money. Are you trying to use this as a ploy to get your budget upped AGAIN???

Yeah! Make Mexico pay for them!

Oh, wait … these immigrants aren’t Mexican?

Never-mind!

Anyone want to lay odds this is going to come out of HUD budget? I mean it is “housing” right?

Plus, they have a parade to get ready for.
