Hi. I don’t remember if I answered those questions in the poll or not, but if I had, I would have chosen the same answers as the majority did. My perception is that although I love Facebook, and am on it all the time, folks younger than me are much more drawn to Instagram or whatever other outlet parents don’t yet use. For that reason, it feels to me like Facebook’s peak might be be behind them as their audience ages, even though they still dominate the space. Not so with Google. Who in tech doesn’t know someone who recently started working at Google, and many other people who would love to work there? Google gives the impression of always being on the cutting edge and attracting the best and brightest. I know at least two people who interviewed at both Google and Facebook and concluded that Google was the place with the much more dynamic and exciting future.
