Tulsi Gabbard has been doing a lot of self-promoting over the last several years, It is starting to get a little tired. There’s a way to advocate for more debates without grandstanding and trying to upstage the DNC leadership. And I too believe there should be at least two additional DNC sanctioned debates.

The phony debate issue is the lamest I’ve seen. For some reason, six debates now means no debates and that DWS or Hillary are somehow afraid of Bernie. Come up with something substantial. Tulsi Gabbard is an attention seeker.
Who is planning on actually watching all 6 debates or more, if there are more? Probably no one that keeps repeating this silly battle cry for more debates.

Six debates is quite enough even for the wonkiest among us and even the Spanish speaking because there will be one on Univision in either February or March from Miami.

You would think these guys who want to be the leader of the free world could get together, decide a time and place, notify the press and show up and debate. They could even coordinate it on twitter instead of constantly using that platform to bitch about the lack of debates.

The little red eye of the camera is intoxicating for a newbie. Rachel’s had her on as well as Blitzer to talk about terrorism, national security, etc. IMHO I’ve never believed a debate particularly among a small field makes a difference. The frontrunner remains the frontrunner when all the dust settles.

I know people get down on Debbie Wasserman Schultz, but here she is just enforcing message discipline, and actually doing her job. As much as Rep. Gabbard is entitled to her opinion, she should realize there is a structure in place for her to act upon it, and the first place is not national television. That’s just how it works.

You might watch eight debates, most people probably won’t, but if the candidates haven’t said it all in the first six covering the time period of October through February or March, they’re not going to say anything new in additional ones.
