And in my home state of Texas, it’s a sure thing that these poll vultures will show up with some loaded iron strapped to their hips … or maybe in their purses.
Let’s have some court ordered and monitored discovery as to all of the voter suppression/intimidation efforts by state and national Republican organizations - emails, memos of conversations, strategy documents, false talking points, doctored “research,” etc. Now, that would be interesting and could lead to some very uncomfortable days for the Repubs.
I have voted at the same place since 1980. If some asswipe vigilante poll watcher shows up I’ll know if he is from my neighborhood or not and he better not try to prevent me or my wife from voting. The poll workers are my neighbors and there is a paper trail following every ballot cast here in Pima County Arizona. The process is transparent and it’s very difficult for some numb nut to vote illegally. It’s not impossible but still the way it’s set up here it is extremely difficult to vote fraudulently. Besides if an alien from Mexico or somewhere further south tries to vote they risk being outed as a person without a visa or legal reason to be here. And they’ll get caught and deported.
For trump to blabber on about fraud and rigging shows desperation has set in. I really want trump to lose, lose badly (bigly) and lose to a girl. I want his ego bruised and turned into bloody pulp. To the point he gives up on politics altogether. As an aside I hope all his businesses fail as well.
I think we’ll be fine. Shortly after Russia’s low-odds high-payoff attempt at a coup in America has failed I expect Putin will make Stone do a Judge Crater.
