Oh, horseshit.

Debbie’s ideal is no debates because Hillary is the only candidate.

Debbie Waste of Space Schultz is symptomatic of the political ineptitude at the top of the Democratic Party. As long as she and her hackish cronies are running the show at the DNC, all Democratic candidates are working with one arm tied behind their backs. I’m a Hillary supporter, and her relationship with DWS does her no good whatsoever.

If DWS quit today and Howard Dean stepped back into her office, it would be a colossal upgrade immediately.

This woman is the answer to the question " Why can’t I love the Democratic Party?". And from that follows “Why can’t I vote for Hillary Clinton?”

In the end, neither one has anything to offer except not being Donald Trump, or Ted Cruz. They are 1988 Republicans.

If you’re actually saying that Hillary Clinton isn’t any different from a Republican and therefore you’ll sit on your ass on election day next November, my daughter—who has a great interest in her own reproduction rights—says, “screw you.”

it’s more the schedule than the number. Although, should have been 6 debates before the 1st primary/caucus…

First and foremost…
Weekend debates are indefensible. Period. There was only one weekday debate, the first.

Worse still is the timing of the weekends. Last before major holidays. (When work parties and in-law travel is prevalent). One on the weekend of Star Wars opening to boot. (say what you want, it was a known date for the premier and a cultural event)

The final indefensible scheduling item, the one that really underscores the shenanigans, IMHO, is the last debate before IA/NH. A Sunday? scheduled during a NFL playoff game?

Shennanigans or incompetence are the only plausible explanations. Neither reflects well on DWS and her stewardship of the DNC and the party during a crucial election. (Supremes Court!)

in the end that should be more than enough to secure a vote. the supreme court is too important.

the difference between who either Trump or Cruz would nominate to the SC and who Hillary would nominate is enough for me.

I’d rather a very wall street friendly corporate shill that respects women and minority rights nominated to the SC, than a very wall street friendly corporate shill that doesn’t.

I give a rat’s ass about the primary debates, 6 is enough, if you’re an active, engaged political person then you’re not just relying on debates to chooses your candidate, if you’re an average Joe who isn’t sure who to support, not much is going to change your mind after watching two or three hour and a half debates, let alone 6.

What I am disappointed in is DWS taking her eye off the ball locally and state wide, she is burying the Democratic party in local elections where a lot more support is needed.

Sometimes I think the word “Progressive” is morphing into “Tea Party” in hard left Democratese.
My way or the highway doesn’t work on either side of the political spectrum.

And in 1988 most Republicans were in favor of reproductive rights, but not so much for economic or social fairness. If you feel compelled to be a one issue voter, so be it. When it comes to living in fair and just society, Clinton is not much different than Bush 1. Banks and war come first. I won’t vote for it.

Of course … and Al Gore was absolutely no different than George W. Bush …

I’m Trying To Prevent ‘Explosion Of Debates’:…And in the interest of party unity and democracy I’ve decided to resign my position as DNC chair and let someone who is competent take charge. Howard Dean with his 50 state strategy showed how it’s done

Debate schedules and times, in the age of streaming and binge watching, are not as important as they once were. If you miss a Saturday debate, watch it Sunday or whenever you please. Anyway, debates are strictly pro forma in nature and context. Not much there, but if there is, you can be sure to see it bolted on to every news site throughout the ensuing days.

Well, she accomplished that…and with room to spare. Congratulations. Now explain the scheduling. Was that to prevent an explosion of coverage?

Although comments made here are personally satisfying to state your positions, I recommend also writing the DNC with your statements of concern and criticism: Debbie Wasserman
Democratic National Committee
430 S. Capitol St. SE
Washington, DC 20003. I’ve done so recently, and am ready to write another critical letter to the whores Wasserman and Clinton, but then again, they are all whores, including Obama and biden, except for Bernie. I do not expect anyone of significance to read my letters, same as those I write to Obama or anyone, including the cowardly liar Comey, head of the Federal Bureau of Bullshit, Cowards and Liars (note: see the Bundy stand off in Oregon and the Bundy stand off in Nevada for proof of his cowardice and racism).

No, “progressive” means progressive.

That is it my friend …just look at the Ruby Red super-majorities around the country, where the gerrymander and voter restrictions have led to states like us in Florida where a surplus (10%) of Dem voters yields a completely red state legislature. The lady got to go

Why is 26 debates too many?
