Ugggh. Too many people for meaningful debates. They need to whittle this one down a bit quicker.

Do we know which candidates on which night?

Gravel’s from AK not AL.

I know. She was interviewed last night by Ari Melber, and I was like, “Who are you?”

Oh, well. Keep winnowing the chaff.

…but the perfect number for a beauty pageant. Burt Parks is still dead, right?

Did Melber get into any of this with her?

The author of more than a dozen self-help and spirituality books.

Ran for Congress as an independent in 2014, and lost.

Championed the rights of gay men with AIDS, founding a charity that now supplies meals to people with serious illnesses.

IIRC, the second debate will be basically the same qualification standards – and although three or four will probably drop out if the get no boost at all from the debate, there will be at least four more ready to replace them in the second debate.

winnowing won’t occur until the third debate.

Huh. This is one of the strangest lists I’ve ever seen. Tim Ryan made it but Seth Moulton didn’t. Mayor DeBlasio made it but Gov. Bullock didn’t.

I know. Annoying. 10 people on a stage at a time, they’ll get what, like 2 soundbites. Nothing substantive.

He did, actually. Or she did.

She said she would always be a democrat, so she had that going for her. Nice person. Definitely not presidential material.

“The Democratic National Committee unveiled on Thursday the 20 Democratic candidates who are qualified to participate in the primary debates.”

What about the other 439?

Which ones qualified for the NIT version?

This is only my opinion, the one winning candidate who might at last drive him over the edge would be Kamala Harris. A trumPP presidency bracketed by two people of color, proving once and for all his was an aberration and a bad dream lasting four years.

Very strange about De Blasio. NYC hates him, he’s just not taking care of what they need.

Harris/Buttigieg, still my dream ticket. Black woman and a gay guy, that would surely make him jump off the top of his building in shame and humiliation.

Fringe benefit of having the Evangelicals all do a Jonestown.

We’d have to revive what Saint Ronnie said, It’s Morning Again in America.

I have an entire scenario laid out if/when Harris wins which includes Adam Schiff being appointed to her seat by Newsom and then winning it outright. Then moving on to Senate Majority Leader.
