And this is news why? Between the Repubs in Congress and the Israelis, we have a lot of one-way streets on the consulting business.

I’m deeply troubled by the announcement that the United States will work with the Palestinian government backed by Hamas," Netanyahu told The Associated Press

Peace is too scary for old war hawks.

Hamas has absolutely no interest in peace with Israel, any Hamas leader who signs an agreement with them will be ostracized. This is a bad move on Abbas’ part.

Well the Likudist regime is a terrorist organization, isn’t it?

If the war criminal Netanyahu thinks something is wrong, then there’s a good chance that it may be right.

Much as I’ve always been for the two-state solution it really isn’t possible. To the extent Netanyahu even supports such a thing, it’d pretty much be formalized apartheid. But even in an alternate reality where he wanted to do this, he can’t. Who’s he negotiating with? Abbas doesn’t represent all of the Palestinians, until now, a significant number of them aligned with a designated terrorist organization. Now that Abbas recognized them, his affiliation with them is a non-starter. Everything is just a fail all around. Meanwhile Israel builds settlements further and further into Palestinian territory.
