Caitlin,
I appreciate all that you do. This a good article that puts all of Trump’s inveighing against diverse members of the judiciary in perspective. I appreciate it. However, in my opinion, the “Trump attacks (name person, place, thing here)” is quickly becoming as routine as presenting daily temperature ranges from throughout the nation.
I have these two miniature pinschers that reflexively barked at everyone and everthing that moved around our town home development. They think they own the neighborhood. At first, the neighnors were non-plussed and alarmed. Do they bite? Now after five years, my neighbors just laugh at my dogs or ignore them.
…she should resign because “her mind is shot.”
Projection, pure and simple.
Well you know…he IS the smartest man he knows…he told us that.
Why don’t you just go to the local Chuck E Cheese’s, and cover the temper tantrums by the toddlers? It will be the same level of discourse, and just as informative.
So sorry donnnie boy your not the king, you are subject to judicial rulings like every other american. Donald keep it mind that the folks that are suing you now are not just some poor contractor who was foolish enough to contract with you but organizations that have pockets that can pay for lawyers for years or just have lawyers on staff eager to make a name for themselves by suing you and the federal government.
SSsssshhh!
Let him figure it out all on his own.
There are other people in this world in desperate need and much more deserving of help. If you are feeling so charitable, please spend your good will where it will do some good.
Trump: I know constitution better than anyone. This was a disgracefully partisan decision. I think that judges in these rulings had Mexican heritage. They should be disbarred.
Can the Judges/Justices sue him for slander / for defacing the Oval Office/ and not upholding his Promise to protect the Constitution of the United States of American?

tweeto isn’t happy----
Ths is’ nt about the judges; this is about JOSH’S editorial regarding FLYNN & his communication with the RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR…JOSH seems to bend over backwards making excuses and explaining FLYNN’S treachery…if this wimpy attitiude continues, I see no reason to continue subscribing to this page…i’m outta here.
there is no way to respond to the editorials JOSH writes…some of which are most annoyingly obtuse.
I’m surprised he hasn’t singled out Judge Friedland for special abuse yet. After all she’s female, Jewish and an Obama appointee. Or, in tangerine tantrum terms: three strikes against her!
In other unfakey news of the week…

Hunh?
This is going to need to be hung around the neck of every one of Trump’s judicial nominees, not just Gorsuch. Anyone who tolerates that kind of behavior from the man nominating them is per so bringing the judiciary into disrepute (which is an ethics violation).
Reliable sources tell me the president* also called the 9th circuit “a bunch of doo doo heads”. The Secret Service changed his diaper, and order was restored.
Just think.
There’s a law that restricts people from besmirching Senators, but evidently it’s open season on judges.
“Tweety Bird, the Tweeting Turd” continues to act like a punk kid who got snubbed by the jocks.Trump is so unbelievably immature and unhinged. Will someone in Congress ever have the guts to draft impeachment articles?
I’m a little late to this thread but I’ll add my two cents. Here is a spoiler alert: Trump loses this fight. It doesn’t matter what the particular case is that is the vehicle for Trump vs Judiciary, Trump will lose the fight.
We already know this. There was a brief moment when a lot of lawyers out here were holding our breath to see whether Trump would go all Andrew Jackson on us. That horse has left the barn. When Trump says , “See you in court!”, that is an admission of defeat. He did not ask the Supreme Court what army they had to enforce their orders .
It is impossible to change the federal judiciary overnight because federal judges are not elected. Right now, Trump is looking at the same judiciary as Obama left town with and just lost his first huge case.
This is battle was always going to be fought out. As long as we have the federal judiciary, we have a field to fight on.
