Discussion: Did The Conservative Blogger Who Crashed The Cochran Conference Call Violate Twitter Rules?

Discussion for article #224629

The rules don’t apply to these cretins.

Or so they think.

Johnson is totally winning the narrative.

…and? Are we pretending there is going to be some sort of consequence?

These people violate election laws all the time, but oooooh, now he’s angered the Twitterz so he’s totally dead meat!

I’m saddened to see TPM giving this scumbag such a good day in the press.

Clearly his religious beliefs exempt him from any rules regarding elections, or Twitter or common decency for that matter. Fasten your seat-belts, it’s going to a bumpy decade.

I guess I am wondering why these types always tend to look like their mom picks out their cloths for them and pays for their haircuts.

I am not sure that what they did is a violation of election law. Dirty tricks associated with guerrilla tactics, yes…but illegal?

But I agree…that violating Twitters terms of service should be the focus of the article instead of possible violations of the law…says a great deal about the world we live in today.

Pay? Putting a bowl on his head and cutting around the edges cost nothing.

I’ve seen Twitter ignore racism, violent harassment and death threats. Do I think they are going to punish this charter member of the GOP Creeper Club? For posting a phone number? Please.

Its almost like they’re rooting for Cochran. If they only devoted even half the time on Cochran’s Democratic opponent, maybe the public, particularly those in Mississippi, might get some additional exposure to the less crazy candidate in the general election for this Senate seat.

If you’re tweeting, you’re losing. That’s one big rule. Politicos looking to score with hard hitting pieces always go with fax bombs, duh!

“Central Casting? Hey. Need you to send me a big, dumb one.
In a suit. Red tie. Mouth usually agape.
Oh yeah-- $5 haircut is a must.
How soon?”

I’m just quaking with fear and trembling…
Violating the ToS on some junkie, overused mess of a messenger service?
Surely, that’s a “crime” that ranks right up there with barbecuing puppies.
So some silly jack-o-napes loses their account. This is big “political” News how again?
With everything else some of these political clowns try to get away with on the down low, this is the story that gets reported??

Oh…and make it a ginger dumb one at that!
