Discussion: Dick Cheney: I Would 'Love' To See A Joe Biden Presidential Campaign

Discussion for article #239929

And I would love to see Dick Cheney and his eldest daughter inflicted with permanent laryngitis.

They were on CBS this morning and Dick went fishing yesterday on ‘Sunday Morning’…Needy monsters, who knew?

Don’t you just love that smug smirk?

Once again the media reaches out to give Cheney a soapbox. There is nothing they will not do to bolster the GOP.

I’d love to see him in a court docket, but like Pandora opening up that vase; who knows what will come from that?

Apparently having a face that’s just asking to be smacked is genetic.

Kiss of Death.

Thanks for the “concern”. May you and your rotten spawn burn in Hell.

That tells you all you need to know about a potential Biden run. If it is good for Democrats and the country in general; he wouldn’t be for it.

BTW I love Joe and think he is a true statesman but I have ZERO respect for and trust in the Cheneys.

“Well, go for it, Joe. He’s tried twice before. He obviously is interested,” he told CNN.

Ok that actually might qualify for sincerity.

"I think there’s a lot of support for him in the Democratic Party.

Define support. Dang those follow up questions…

"I think it would stir things up.

They are evidently running short on opponent intelligence at the First street branch.

They’re short candidates on their side,

“There are currently sixteen ‘never gonna happen candidates’ in the Republican primary. However there is only one Donald Trump.”

so, you know, Joe, have a shot at it."

But be wary of the consequences…

Dear Destroyer of Universes:

This is an official communication to inform you that, in light of your plain and repeated violations of the basic codes of human decency, the Grand Alliance has no choice but to recall the heart you received under the false pretense of yourself being human.

We will be arriving momentarily at your compound to effect property seizure.

I think that, long ago, the press made a collective decision that most important Democrats were boring and too serious; too anchored in reality. In other words, not much fun/clickbait. The exception of course is Hillary, around whom they’ve created, as Krugman put it in today’s column, an “anti-personality cult.”

Modern Republicans, again as Krugman puts it today, are “poseurs with a knack for public relations”. They can always be counted on for hyperbolic statements of doom and fear; for dismissive comments about science, women’s rights, minorities, etc. which attract viewers and therefore profit.

It’s all about which personalities have the most return on the dollar.

Isn’t it amazing? I mean, point out one time in history where the ex-VP receives more media attention, more reach out for interviews, than the actual ex-President does. And the country despises Cheney…his national polling is atrocious.

Bringing Cheney out is quite literally the MSM trolling Democrats nation wide. This is a VP who has never run a national election. He never ran in the primaries, and picked himself as VP. He has noting relevant to say, its just pure trolling.

Yeah, both Cheney and Bush know they will never be indicted in this country.

But what a horrible precedent that states. Do things so horrible in secret, that the government simply cannot risk prosecuting you because of the international fallout that would surely come as those secrets are revealed. And they are too high profile to just quietly feed to an alligator in the Everglades. (Plus, cruelty to animals issues)

I always record this show and was grateful I could FF the Liz and Dick show.

Diz as I think them are promoting a book, title not important, so they’re slogging it wherever they’re allowed to do so.

I ‘loved’ Cheney’s reponse in regards to waterboarding. If he (or anyone in that admistration) was a decent historian, he knew that it didn’t matter what term he sought to call it; waterboarding is torture and this country on two separate occasions had serious issues with the practice. One was WW2 and the other was when this country occupied the Philippines.

but hey

‘ancient history’…

There was a Blacklist episode that dealt with organ repossession.

Neh…I shouldn’t harbor those thoughts.

Well, there’s a difference between what’s good for the Dems and some war criminal’s opinion of what’s good for the Dems.
I imagine he was of the opinion that his policies would bolster the Rs, but from this distance, you can see the GOP slowly imploding as a direct result of the corruption and incompetence of his administration.
