They just want to get this hearing in before the Dems can have one. Guaranteed when the Dems call her to testify before them because this hearing doesn’t give them the opportunity to test her on the tear gas, family separations, child abuse allegations, abject failures in planning, ignorance and deliberate ignoring of the actual ayslum laws, etc., Goodlatte will be screaming about how she “already testified.”
Empirical testing of “natural,” “nacho-worthy,” “harmless” tear gas could not find a better subject. Have at it.
The only good thing is that she will be so intent on sucking up to Donnie that she will most likely leave enough holes in her testimony to provide the Dems with specific questions to justify calling her back again.
