Sociopaths adore other sociopaths.

I’m late to this thread, but somebody needed to post this:

Nope, never! Well, hardly ever…

So, BDV wants to revive Trump University and expand it to K-12 students.

This cartoon is incredibly offensive. If anything, DeVos would have been one of the ā€œCheerleadersā€ trying to prevent Ruby from attending school.

I love this graphic. It gives me hope for the future. I do not think it is wise to build social and economic policy protecting the interest of white working class males in a lost way of life. We live in a different country now – a fact that should be celebrated!

ā€œDominionist madrasasā€ – a great phrase that I will use in the future. This is what happened in DeVos’s state, Michigan, as a result of her vigorous and well-resourced advocacy for her ā€œvision.ā€

This expresses something I have been concerned about ever since ā€œvouchersā€ emerged on the right-wing agenda. Many families in poor, inner-city, majority-minority school districts support vouchers and charterization as the only solutions on the horizon for the poor quality education their kids are receiving in the public schools. We need to do a better job of explaining the real consequences of this agenda.

Does #45’s administration have to be all evil all the time? Jesus! It sure would be nice, if by some happy accident, there weren’t somebody in the administration who wasn’t purely evil and intent on destruction of the cabinet department that they are charged with running and American society at large.

Oh Betsy, you can do better than that. Have you forgotten the days you were chair of Mars Hill Church in Grandville, MI?Do you now bow down to Steve Bannon?

Not just white women. When I was young in the early '80s, a 25-year-old white U.S. Navy veteran a couple of years into my career, I felt returning to college to get a degree in my field would be helpful. Besides the G.I. Bill, I received funds from the State of Oklahoma under the affirmative action program for deciding to attend an historically black state university (which may have had the best department in my major in the state), since I would therefore be a minority. It works both ways, but of course white racists aren’t interested in furthering their education if it means association with ā€œthoseā€ people.

It shocks me to say this, but I agree with this person on one of her points.
If a university is going to have a group that offers tutoring for students race should not be the determining factor in who gets help. It should be open to all that need it even whiny white ones.
