If I read this right, previous secretaries have used department employees for security details, and those employees are still employed, just doing other things. So, the $6.5 million she is spending on Marshal Service employees is entirely over and above what previous secretaries spent on security. Thatās some great fiscal responsibility, right there.
Also too, why are these people so fearful?
She pays for her own air travel; why canāt she pay for her security detail above and beyond the standard for a cabinet secretary?
