The other nugget in the video of Trump taunting John Kerry (with false facts about his age and being in a bicycle race at the time of his injury), is Trump’s totally made up claim that the Obama and prior Administrations, were afraid to talk about North Korea. He pulled this fact out of his nether regions and FOX News and low culture imagination, just like his claim that his Administration has made it safe to say “Merry Christmas” again.
Reminds me of my last bicycle accident. I broke my right collar bone. Didn’t have insurance (was recently fired - not my fault this time), had a big mortgage, and was single. The only other bone I had ever broken in my life was my LEFT collar bone (another bike mishap), so I knew how to treat it. I just need the brace/sling thingie - that’s all I needed. Couldn’t get one. They are prescription only. I even called the veterans hospital and asked them to write me a prescription. No go (I’m a 2nd class vet it seems). I ended up just letting it heal on its own.
I wonder if Betsy has stories to tell, too.

Well, at least she doesn’t have to worry about having great healthcare. AND, after she gets out, she can look forward to that $10,000 raise every cabinet member got during the Trump/Fox “News” shutdown!!! Pretty nice deal.
Yeah. Why am I having a hard time imagining her on any bike? Ever.

You could have broken in to steal one, and if you got caught, they’d give you one in prison.

After reading some of the comments, I can see that great minds do think alike. I’d been avoiding reading and commenting on this article to avoid making petty and cruel comments, but anything I could have remarked upon has already been written, Besides, one broken bone is hardly worth mentioning after suffering 15 fractures from the same accident though only one needed surgery.
Still, it’s a pity Betsy is resting comfortably at home. She won’t be once the PT begins.
And don’t feel you need to hurry back to work on our account. Take lots of time to rest and recover. Two years even.
