“Your head is in the sand about racial bias and racial discrimination,” Lee said.

“In fact, you appear to be completely DeVossed from reality.”

Here’s her answer: “Federal law must be followed when federal money is involved.”

“DeVos’ testimony in front of the House Appropriations subcommittee got so tense at times, that the chairman made a point of thanking DeVos for her poise when he concluded the meeting.”

For some reason, this comment really aggravated me.

“If there are going to be guns in schools, they need to be in the hands of the right people, those who are going to protect students and ensure their safety.”

If guns at school?
Oh right, the bears.

Yeah, she’s always frustrated whenever she’s asked anything. She hates that she has to answer to people she thinks are beneath her

In this administration, this is a feature, not a bug…sadly

She understands that not discriminating against minorities IS the problem. And she is hell bent on fixing it, even if it means the destruction of the public school system.

That’s why “Black Panther” was so refreshing & ground-breaking. A whole bunch of Africans just dealing with their own country, being their own superheros, creating their own super-gadgets.

And telling the tolkien white to shut up and get to work!

Really. I KNOW that gelid fake smile. It’s on the face of every person whose been upbraided by anyone they think is beneath them. Which, I’ll bet in her case, is EVERYBODY.

The fundamental problem with Public Schools is the word public, which sounds a little too much like pubic (a detail easily missed by those too dependent on spell-checkers) and that word makes me uncomfortable, the same way gay people and people who listen to that hippity-hoppity music do. But I digress.

Public Schools are like National Forests and Social Security. They should be sold to the highest private sector bidder and deregulated. This is what the prosperity gospel teaches us.

And who gets to buy Federal Law, Betsy? “I do, I do!”

I think a color chart is involved in determining who the ‘right’ people are. After all, she is a person of the R persuasion.

Poor Betsy she’s looking more and more ecru since age moves on from the lighter shade of pale.

“Head in Sand” is a polite euphenism for “Head up one’s ass”

Oh, I did a fudge.

Still laughing over that video, 24 hours later.

Betsy Wetsy definitely loves money. Her family donated $200 million to the Repugnant party and admitted they expected appointment to departments they can destroy. They are tired of paying to educate the peons. And how many government contracts has her brother Eric Prince locked up for his mercenary army?

"“Your head is in the sand about racial bias and racial discrimination,” Lee said. “Madame Secretary, you just don’t care much about the rights of black and brown children. This is horrible.”

Yes, it is.
