So good men with guns resisted, but were quickly overwhelmed by a bad guy with an assault rifle. No one will seriously pursue the issue of how a troubled civilian got several weapons, including assault rifles plural; it’s politically and socially safer to divert attention to military gun policy.

He was at the age where he should be doing drugs & drinking. That is when one is supposed be partying.
It is the quiet ones who turn out to be serial killers or rapists. You never hear a serial killer’s neighbors complain about the loud parties, it is usually “he always so quiet and polite.” When was the last time anyone heard the neighbor of a serial killer state that “he threw wild parties every weekend with loud music until 6am and his guests were fu@king on my lawn.”
