Not sure why anyone would take a single word spewed from this racist fascist Trumpian regime seriously, worldwide, from anyone in the US administration. I don’t, and never again will believe a word issued from any of them, period. The USA is fried, will be difficult to regain any decent culture and civilization - appears now impossible.
Between the incompetent criminal liar in the WH and hiring people with no relevant knowledge of the job they’re now in, we are in a world of trouble. We are increasingly seeing the unraveling of our govt. in domestic and foreign situations with no end in sight.
This has got to come to an end.

True. It’s pretty frightening that Bolton sounds coherent and makes sense … and it seems that Erdogan had Trump’s promise on how the pull out of American troops from Syria was going to go. And now the U.S. is trying to hamper his ability to murder Kurds.
If you can’t murder a few Kurds once in awhile I just don’t know what this world has come to.
Bottom line: No one knows who speaks for the United States anymore and who is running this shitshow.

Kurds probably didn’t have much choice, but either way ethnic groups throwing their lot with the US are historically stupid, they will be at the receiving end of broken promises and outright treachery.
Ask the Hmongs and Montagnards in South East Asia. Or Native Americans in the Southeast that collaborated with the US Army to quash other tribes resistance, only to find that their land was to be confiscated and their leaders hanged by Andrew Jackson.

And I’m more confused than ever that Trump tweets that he is ‘on the same page’ as Bolton and Erdogan and they’re all saying the same thing. I guess I must have missed one of the many rewrites of what Trump has said.
True, but the interesting part is that Bolton’s statements don’t jibe with Trump’s statements and Erdogan isn’t letting it go. I think this is setting up a telling showdown and could end any of several different ways.
Also, are we not going to mention that Erdogan has an editorial in the NYTimes today?
