Trump seems to be leaning towards Richard Grenell, the current U.S. ambassador to Germany who has frequently offended his hosts as well as people back home.
I don’t see the problem. Grenell has earned this promotion.
The thing is, Grenell is a perfect fit for any position in the Trump administration.

Trump and his idiot cabal are clueless and understaffed about how to handle the multitude of impending investigations into everything Trump does after the Democrats take the House. He’s living in a fantasy world of a Red Wave due to his fantastic leadership with tax cuts and judges. Those are the only things he can call accomplishments. Nothing on better infrastructure and better healthcare. He was going to do that, but greed and personal feuds got in the way.
