Discussion: DeSantis Already Spent Money From Donor Who Used N-Word, Won't Return It

Looks like he is running a stellar campaign and now admits his campaign is broke…

Because, y’know, money is entirely not fungible. And every cent they spent has the name of the precise donor who gave it attached to it.

(I also wonder about that “accounting error” thing. Is there a limit on campaign contributions that was violated? Was there a straw contribution that was discovered?)

It was part of the 25% that you have to hide in the Caymans.

Dumbass Democrats only attack him because they don’t understand how a Real Politican runs a campaign.

Only the exact dollar bills from Alembik have the racist “cooties”, I guess.

Wink, wink, say no more…

The fungibility of money, it’s such a tricky notion! Why are you expecting DeSantis to understand PhD economics concepts?

Yup, they mark each dollar a donor sends them with the donor’s initials. They went through the pile and only found 11000 with SA written on them, so that other 9000 must have been spent, sorry.

Republican activist Steven Amelbik recently opined that calling former President Barak Obama a” “FG MUSLIM N” was not racist because it was posted to Twitter rather than spoken publicly. I recently visited a prison inmate who said to me outright “I am not incarcerated for having killed someone; I am incarcerated for having been stupid enough to get caught killing someone.” The inmate’s statement made clear to me that he and I hew to moral codes that differ not just in degree, but in kind. More often than I like, I find myself wondering whether opposing sociocultural viewpoints that set Mr. Amelbik apart from progressive liberal thinkers signals a difference in kind, or merely one of degree.

He must open a new bank account for each donation he receives to make sure it doesn’t get mixed in with anyone else’s.

Seems like a lot of bother, but I suppose if the account with the embarrassingly racist guy’s donation is now empty, he has no way of getting it back. Unless… maybe the local printer will let him return the lawn signs he bought with the money?

Enough of Republican mismanagement and corruption.

It’s time for change. Vote for change.
