Every time a Republican says something even slightly off-message, I have to wonder what angle they’re covering for the President? I love how Dent just normalized both the need for the payment and Cohen’s status as Trumps concigliere, almost like he’s throwing out a stalking horse.

Not so much. He just knows that they don’t want to set precedent with Trump so they can never attack another Democratic President in the future.

That’s where I think a lot of the #NeverTrump people are at. Its not that they are coming to our side, they just realize supporting Trump is going to seriously hurt their future criticisms/attacks.

And we also hear recently how Cohen has reportedly been treated by the fuckface, like garbage – and I think for once Stone told the truth there, i.e., Cohen has been like a battered wife – treated like crap and yet can’t stop staying with her abusive husband, holding on to hope for his love, recognition, affirmation… kinda like cult worshipers’ state of mind, I imagine. And once cult worshippers are “deprogrammed”…
