Yeah, he needs to annoy even more than he already has those House members who authorize spending. But somewhere in Dumbfuck, MS the crowds are cheering and chanting about finishing a wall which was never built.

Maybe a general strike will finally wake him up…

I suppose Hillary as a 16-year old could’ve done the deed, but Obama as a two-year old couldn’t have. Kenya was too far to come by himself in order to aim a rifle at a motorcade.

Since most of his hair comes from a spray can, I tend to doubt it.

Born and raised, 60+ year resident of what used to be a great place to live, and while I wouldn’t have a clue as to what does or does not constitute an “National Emergency” I do know this:
Data gathered by The Auto Club in a 2018 report indicated that the national average for hit & run motor vehicle accidents sits right @ 10 percent; in Los Angeles County, that average is 66 percent!
I can also say - and this may surprise some of the big brains out there - that immigrants who entered this country illegally - who’ve not paid one dime into Medicaid - are receiving Medicaid benefits. Per Kaiser Healthcare News: "Federal law generally bars immigrants who enter this country illegally from being covered by Medicaid. But a little-known part of the state-federal health insurance program for the poor, has long paid about $2 billion a year for emergency treatment for a group of patients who, according to hospitals, mostly comprise this class of immigrants.”
A twelve year old report - 2007 - by the Journal of the American Medical Association found that in a four-year period, approximately 99 percent of those who used Emergency Medicaid were determined to be immigrants who entered this country illegally. Think maybe - twelve years later - the number of illegals using these facilities has gone down? Not bloody likely!
Further, as if the cost of treating uninsured immigrants who entered this country illegally in 2018 alone - $4.4 billion, primarily at Emergency rooms and “Free” Clinics - weren’t enough, consider the billions being absorbed by in-patient care delivered by hospitals, and don’t “play stupid” as to who is picking up these costs, because we all know its every American taxpayer - not to mention medical facilities and insurance companies who turn around and raise their rates for those of us who play by the rules.
November 17, 2017 - "A fire at a SINGLE-FAMILY home - sparked by an unattended candle - injured three children and three adults in the Walnut Park area of Los Angeles. According to the lead fire inspector for Los Angeles County on the scene:
“Prior to being displaced by the near-complete destruction of the house, 20 children and 11 adults had been residing there.”

Dems need to learn that Trump is a very slow learner.

Shoot, that finance course was useless. It totally skipped over the all-important topics of guile, cunning, deceit, and cheating.

Nelson’s a sharp, no, VERY sharp union leader who has her eye on the AFL-CIO presidency by challenging Dick Trumka when his term is up in two years. She’s considered a strong contender right now.

Like the French Bourbons, Trump has learned nothing, and forgotten nothing.

It’s hard to tell any story in which Trump’s record-breaking hostage-taking was a failure. He didn’t get the $5b he demanded, but he did get ~$1.5b. The lesson is clear: taking hostages is an effective way to gain ground, even if it might not get you all the way to the goal line.

Expect the GOP to take hostages the next time the opportunity presents itself.

Oh, yeah, and their wealthy bosses have made it pretty clear that this is a fight-to-the-death between organized money and representative democracy. If this GOP somehow fails to take hostages the next time, Koch, Adelson, and Mercer will cashier them and field the next crop of unprincipled bad-faith sock puppets. Lather, rinse, repeat, until the Republican party is staffed entirely by prostitutes.
