There needs to be a full-scale, effectively-messaged, non-stop media blitz about Republican plans to do away with Medicare. Fights and procedural maneuvers on the floor of the Senate won’t do it, nor will a barrage of statements with old cliches. The American people need to know and be reminded repeatedly about the impending danger and harm to seniors and their families, the uncontrollable increases in medical care costs and out-of-pocket expense, the resulting unaffordability of health care, the necessary medical procedures that will not happen, the life-saving medication that will not be able to be purchased, the suffering, and the early ugly deaths that will occur. It’s not a scare tactic - it is a proven reality of what will happen.

Few realize that the losses the giant Insurance companies incurred during the Bush financial crash was a key reason their health, homeowners, and auto insurance rates keep going up. Before they repealed Glass-Steagall and such schemes using common Americans to pay for the losses of the billionaires was not going to fly…but with Trump the crooked billionaires have their man.

Good luck with the Sunday talk shows. Last I saw Kellyanne gets about half of the one hour program time on each of the major networks. The programs don’t want or need to hear anything the Dems have to say when they have her to keep them straight on the current propaganda.
Of course the GOP wants an orthopedic surgeon for HHS Secretary.
Orthopedic surgeons for decades have been seen as the most greedy by their fellow physicians, especially the non-surgeons.

Rep. Price is a member of the Assoc. of American Physicians and Surgeons, a far right organization that opposes mandatory vaccines, Medicare, and abortion. The AAPS’s medical journal has published fake studies linking abortion to breast cancer, and denying that HIV causes AIDS. The group has also published articles attacking evolution and denying climate change. It’s a target rich environment for Democrats.

Guys. This healthcare stuff is really scary to me right now. ACA Open Enrollment ends at midnight tomorrow. New policies and renewed policies will be going into effect on Thursday and January 1st. Trump and the GOP Congressional Majorities are not inheriting an economy in a freefall like BHO and Dems did in 2008. During the 2008 campaign,I know an economic stimulus package isn’t the first thing BHO wanted to have to do. Trump and GOPs have the freedom that BHO did not have in his first 100 days. I am scared of what they are gonna do. They don’t give a f**k.
