Republicans: The Party of Censorshipā„¢

I think censoring Warren was the biggest tactical mistake I have seen on the GOP side for a while.

Good for these Senators, and may Mitch McConnell be tossed on to the dustbin of history ASAP.

They don’t give a shit. They own it all and can’t see how they could possibly lose it.

I presume you mean besides electing an inept ā€˜businessman’ with a tiny penis and massive insecurity complex?

Fuck that paraphrasing shit. They should have done that same reading verbatim from the King letter and allowed themselves to be at risk of being red-carded too. How good would that look for the GOP who doesn’t like to hear inconvenient truths? Protest that shit the way you did when you sat in on floor in protest. Didn’t John Lewis teach you guys anything? When your cause is just, its worth rocking the boat to make voices heard above the din.

Elizabeth Warren still has more balls than any of those Senators, Republican or Democratic ones combined.

I am proud of the fight we are seeing from members of the Democratic party!

I’d be prouder if they actually had displayed some fucking backbone starting back around 2000, instead of rolling over and playing dead while it was obvious to anyone with more brain cells than an amoeba that the republicans had become nothing more than the mouthpiece of the worst dregs of society.

But that’s just me.

Why does this kinda rub me the wrong way? I get that it’s a solidarity, ā€œthis deserves to be heardā€ kind of thing, but there’s something about men getting up to say what a woman wasn’t allowed to say that just irritates me to no end. Also, this ā€œin a fashion appropriate under our rules,ā€ is some BS…as if Warren were being inappropriate in the first place. Someone talk me down…

Of course she was being inappropriate. As the VP would say, she belongs in the kitchen, not on the floor of the Senate, unless she’s bringing baked goods to all the hard-working Men there.

Men who are not afraid of intelligent, articulate, strong women.

Just as I’m sure you’re preparing a nice sandwich for your husband while typing your responses out on your iPad next to the cutting board, as Pence would want you to!

I hear you, but I also said somewhere else that there is a lot of celebratory hollering and cheering and ignorant yahooing and even contributing based on misogyny, racism, anti-intellectualism and KKK politicking, all organized around denouncing the mouthy Yankee know it all nervy woman.

So pick your battles carefully and with the entire picture in mind.

This was a real knee-slapper in ā€œconservativeā€ circles for a while…

It’s not like most Rs don’t know this about him already, in fact I’d assume it’s the main reason Donald and the Rs want him.

So the rebuke is not about what Sen. Warren said but rather it is about who she is. According to McTurtle she is a second class Senator. It is the uppity woman thing.
