Funny, I’m not finding John McCain’s name on that list. Moreover, if Republicans in the House don’t co-sponsor this but keep on tweeting/facebooking/yakking on Sunday shows I’ll throw something out the window.

Paul Ryan will never, ever bring this bill to the floor for a vote.

Very good move. The fact that its the Dems putting this forward makes it even more clear who is on the side of protecting our national interests. Let’s see how many Repubs. and which ones will get on board to protect our national security. Put up or shut up. Even better, let’s see if the Senate takes up this bill. If so…will President Bannon and his Russophilia sign it into law?

This is really a brilliant move. Force them to say no to what they were demanding of President Obama. In fact, I’m thinking Republicans might even be placed in such a bind to prove their own indepence from PP and separate themselves from this Russian mess that they’ll actually go along with it. That would put PP in the position of either vetoing the bill and thus exposing himself unequivocally or signing it and pissing off Putin. He’d be screwed either way.

“Trump should not have “unfettered capability” to reduce sanctions against Russia.”

If that’s true, then the answer is not legislation to rein him in. The answer is he shouldn’t be POTUS.

It is simply incredible to see how quickly the entire situation around Trump’s Russia ties is moving. This is more of a floodgate opening than the drip-drip-drip of Watergate. At the rate that new information is coming to light, even the most cynical republicans in congress (e.g., most of them) have to be constantly reassessing their positions vis Trump.

I think that the republicans might vote for this, since they have majorities in both chambers. They can rubber-stamp whatever Trump wants when it comes. But if they do, Trump and his surrogates will freak out about the curtailing of the absolute power of the presidency.

Trump should not have “unfettered capability” to do anything with respect to this country. However, he thinks he has or should have that capability with respect to everything.

The good news is he is being forced to learn otherwise. Keep it up, Dems, courts, and especially, leakers who truly care!

But that’s also why Paul RAyn will probably not bring it up for a vote. Then Dems can go after him by showing what a spineless piece of shit that dishonest puke really is when it comes to our national security. He can take that back to Janesville to explain to his constituency why he wouldn’t let the House vote on it, as people line up to attend his town halls. Win-win.

Alert the media, someone in Congress is actually attempting to legislate! More like this, please; keep up the pressure on the MisAdministration.

Republicans win either way. Doubt they’re sweating much if at all over any of this. Pence is more their man than Trump ever was.

No relief for Russia until the Russia-loving Trump reveals his economic interests there.
